Slow release T3 version, combined with levothyroxine
I take
Tirosint
first in the morning and after an hour, I also take t3 slow release and I don't know if it's correct like that, the doctor who prescribed them didn't give me more indications.

I GAVE UP.
I also tried different Brands of Levothyroxine including
Tirosint
, but was told by the prescribing GP it was a 'one off' and would not be given another script. I was put on inhalers, for breathlessness. And had an allergic reaction and had to call an ambulance.

Adding more T3? or keep as is?
I usually take the 175
tirosint
in the morning and 5 mcg T3, then around 3pm take the other 5mcg T3.

Hashimotos and hair loss
I am taking
Tirosint
750 mcg per week at the moment (increased recently from 700 mcg per week due to TSH of 4.56 mUI/l (range 0.30 – 4.30). My main concern, and the reason why I am writing, is hair loss. It is driving me crazy.

First time posting here with questions
These thyroid labs were done when I was on 50 mcg of
Tirosint
but my endo recently raised my dose to 75 mcg and I guess he's hoping I'll be able to tolerate some T3 medication at some point. I don't tolerate NDT at all so that's off the table.

T3 and cortisol issues?
Upon the encouragement of my dr I even tried t4 only, huge disaster on 75 mcgs of
Tirosint
, added depression to the anxiety party! So currently I am back on 94.5 mcgs of levoxyl and trying to add T3. Even 1.25 mcgs of t3 taken with food gives me symptoms.

Really struggling
Now waiting for
Tirosint
and on PPI. Identifying more good intolerances and my diet is extremely limited, I’m constantly hungry but losing more weight. Some days I think I will just be left to waste away and am really frightened.

New Thyroid Results - Conversion Issue?
I am taking 88 mcg
Tirosint
/day (75 mcg was definately too low and put me into a dysphoric state - and 100 mcg was too high and caused me to be irritable and anxious). My current results look pretty good to me, but I'm wondering if I have a conversion issue.

TRT + Hypothyroidism Issue
Right now I'm taking
Tirosint
Sol (T4) 75mcg + Thybon (T3) 20mcg, upped it up to 30mcg but I don't feel any difference. edit. I do have some NDT that I am willing to try but it's from Thailand, (Thyroid-S) the one with the 500 capsules.

Bariatric surgery, what do you think?
The analysis looks good, I feel ok (125mcg
Tirosint
and 20T3 slow rls./daily). It's a vicious circle that creates insulin resistance and metabolism decrease and I can't lose weight. Are there any other cases in the group that resorted to this operation and had good results?

Total t3 and free t3
On
tirosint
88 and cytomel 7.5 mg. I listen more to what I learn from here, than I do to doc's. I guess my question is, how important is the total t3 in the big picture. Thanks much ! I value the knowledge here

How to get Tirosint?
I was wondering does it need to be specifically requested by GP or can I take a normal levothyroxine prescription and simply request
tirosint
provided the pharmacists stock it?

Results on Armour Thyroid - Help
So, I started on
Tirosint
(just T4) per his recommendation. At 88 mcg of
Tirosint
I felt pretty good, but my TSH was .029 (range .40 - 4.5) and my doctor (the endo) freaked out and insisted I drop my dose to 75 mcg. I started feeling irritable, depressed, foggy, weight gain.

increase meds and symptoms
I increased from 75mcg to 100mcg of t4
tirosint
a few days ago and the fatigue/ body aches and weakness and hunger has hit me. Is this a common thing whilst your body adapts to the new dose?
