Is It Time to Panic Now?
Hence the trial of
Tirosint
. No radiation pill. They said I wouldn't need it. Is my brain still trying to get my thyroid to wake up when it isn't there or is my cancer back?

Internal Trembling, tinnitus and Insomnia
I'm working with a functional doctor to get to the bottom of my symptoms and she put me on
Tirosint
13.5 mcg. I DO feel better. But I still struggle with tinnitus and what I can only describe as "internal trembling with heart palpitations and insomnia" for more nights than I care for.

How many with PD (have taken or does take) Tyrosine
In Dr. Sackner Bernstein presentation he mentioned Tyrosine producing Dopamine inside the cells. Made me wonder how many with PD (have taken or does take) Tyrosine. If he is right about too much dopamine in the cells being the cause, Tyrosine supplements should have a huge detrimental effect on PD. https

Came across this book while researching Wahls protocol on recovery from Alzheimer's and neuro degeneration.
https://terrywahls.com/new-book-release-from-dr-dale-bredesen-the-first-survivors-of-alzheimers/ It looks like many of the supplements recommended on HU plus a few more have been used to treat Alzheimers for some successfully. For instance to restore balance btw glutamate to GABA with valerian, B6 and

100-150mcg of T3 but STILL COLD AND TIRED
Hello I am a 31 year old female. I have SELF DIAGNOSED as hypothyroid (normal TSH, LOW free T3, normal(ish) free T4). I had an eating disorder for 20 years and this can disrupt the HPA axis making TSH and T4 normal but T3 low due to conversion problem. I KNOW the dangers of self-medicating but I was

The Neuroendocrine Connection
Adrenal hormones, sex hormones, and neurotransmitters are functionally interrelated. Changes in sex hormones and adrenal hormones can lead to neurotransmitter imbalances. In turn, neurotransmitter imbalances can affect hormone function. The following tests are recommended to establish your baseline.

Availability Levothyroxine Brands
I did see liquid T4 and the Gel Capsules
Tirosint
but am aware that these are very expensive. Not sure if their are other options or how to approach this with my GP, any advice or similar experiences would be of a great help?

16+ years since dx and what we’ve learned
I’ve posted before about our trials with synthetic and natural levadopa but after reading Dr. Jonathan Sackner-Bernstein‘s essay, I wanted to shout a big “hooray”! I’ve long suspected levadopa was doing more harm than good and that the whole idea that PD being all about dopamine deficiency was in some

Understanding mechanisms of resistance to Pirtobrutinib in Chronic Lymphocytic Leukaemia
Covalent Bruton Tyrosine Kinase inhibitors (BTKi) like ibrutinib, acalabrutinib and zanubrutinib have completely changed the treatment landscape for CLL. However, a group of patients can develop resistance (most commonly as a result of a BTK C481S mutation) to these effective treatments and require further

Tirosint and cytomel vs Synthroid and cytomel?
Any benefits, differences between
tirosint
and Synthroid? My labs are a little wonky, and idk if that’s due to the lactose/fillers in Synthroid, or the low FT3. I just filled an rx for the same dose as my Synthroid in
tirosint
and am a little scared to make the switch. Any good reviews?

Time to take a BiTE? Bispecific T-Cell Engagers (BiTEs)
Bispecific antibodies are one of the newest treatments currently being trialled and offer the promise of a new type of treatment but it’s not without risks. A paper in Blood as long ago as 2017 indicated that this could be a treatment for CLL patients. NVG-111 is a humanised, tandem ROR1 and anti
