Tirosint who have you used to get this prescription in the uk?

Has anyone uk based found a Dr or endo that can prescribe Tirosint or synthroid levo brands? I know by the list there are pharmacies that do prescribe it in the uk. I am just unsure who you go through to obtain this prescription?

Not at all clear why you are thinking about Synthroid? It is just another levothyroxine tablet, and one that contains two ingredients people sometimes find troubling - lactose and acacia.

A doctor who is willing can prescribe Tirosint. However, quite possibly only on a private prescription. Up to the individual doctor to decide. And for you to decide whether you can afford it.

Yes I am aware it will only be a private endo who could prescribe, I am asking who people use to be able to obtain a private prescription. I am happy to see a private endo. I already pay privately for my armour thyroid, so it wouldn’t be an issue paying for the medication.

Any doctor could prescribe Tirosint. There are rules about GPs doing private prescriptions, and it seems to end up that some do, and some don't do, private prescriptions.
