RAI Decision to Make
I had a TT in February due to a 1.0 cm papillary cancer nodule. The cancer did not spread. I had my 6-month ultrasound and that came back good. It has been recommended for me to have the RAI treatment because there was some angioinvasion on the pathology report. I am on the fence about it. I am worried

I need advise because I’m really struggling with life right now.
I had RAI treatment for hyperthyroidism ( graves) in April of this year. Then after 2 months I was diagnosed with hypothyroidism with a tsh of 60. I was put on 50mg of Levo for 2 weeks, then I ended up In ambulatory care because I felt so anxious, with bad headache, thirsty, and cold sweats. They moved

What are your thoughts on this multi supplement
Are there any combinations within this product that shouldn’t be taken together? There’s iodine in it, which some schools of thought say that Hashimoto’s sufferers should avoid … Thanks

Feeling dehydrated even with drinking 2-3 liters per day
Has anyone been troubled with dehydration with CLL? My CLL was diagnosed in July as result of hospital admission for acute sigmoidal diverticulitis (never had this before). I am on W&W, my ALC was 20 from what I remember during that acute illness. RBC's, platelets and Hgb all preserved. Since that

Thyroid symptoms and iodine
I have all the symptoms of an underactive thyroid except I am sensitive to hot and cold. My tsh and t4 are normal, but t3 4.0. (Lab scale started at 3.9 ). In June I was much better and had had 2 iodine injections for scans. Does an iodine deficiency cause the same symptoms thanks

Completely lost
Guys. I have hypothyroidism on a cellular level - meaning it is not primary, not secondary, but underactive/unresponsive within the cells. TSH normal, low- end of range t4 and t3. Both levothyroxine and Armour have increased my symptoms and made me very ill as they are not making it into the cells. Endocrinologists

Testing Pituitary Function - Any Advice Please?
I had an overactive thyroid gland treated with Radioactive Iodine in February 1990. I gained two and half stone during the three years which followed. My doctor flatly refused the idea that my thyroid had become underactive, while my T4 slowly plummeted to the bottom of the range, because my TSH did

Symptoms but no diagnosis. Frustrating. I've tried everything and would appreciate any kind of advice. Please note this is a very long post.
I started to feel discomfort on the right side below my ribs about a year and a half ago. It wasn't pain as such but more of a discomfort that one should not feel daily. I was drinking heavily at the time; beer, whiskey, tequila. This discomfort has now become chronic that would last for a few hours

Anyone else feeling sick on multi vitamins???? 🥺🤢
I’m convinced my multi vitamin is making me have all day sickness 🙄 anyone else the same? I’m currently on Pregnacare but think the iodine is not agreeing with me . I’ve changed when I take it and always with food but the all day sick is just not going. I’m sick sometimes shortly after I’ve swallowed

Can't seem to get anywhere
I may or may not be able to get any answers here. I might not even be in the right place. I'm a 53 year old male and back in 2015 my thyroid swelled up quite a bit. I was referred to my local hospital endocrinology. Where a large amount off brown liquid was drained. At the same time I developed alopecia

Anti-Androgen Tx and Bone Tumors, Enhanced RT using iodine nanoparticles, Enhancing the immune response, and Cowpea mosaic virus for a cure?
Hello FPC members, Recently, some news has come out regarding anti-androgen therapy and the development of bone tumors in PCa. It would seem that in some circumstances per the article, some anti-androgens may fuel the spread of bone tumors. Finding the DNA markers to identify individuals at risk using

Making T3 chemically
The producers currently being fined for the skyhigh price of T3 have alleged that the high cost is through difficulty in production of T3 chemically. I looked up the accepted procedure for making T3 and it didn't seem unduly difficult. Making T4, you leave all the sites of tyrosine molecules to be iodinated
