Trying to interpret my results
Hi I was wondering if I could ask some advice regarding my latest results. I've just had bloods done so anticipating the usual conversation with my GP about my TSH being too low.... I've screen shot my results since 2015 basically as I've been tracking them as my TSH rarely changes, even with a reduction

What to do?
I have tried to take 100 Levothyroxine but I felt horrible. Would you recommend lowering Levothyroxine to 75 and adding 5 or perhaps 5+5 liothyronine? On 87.5 t4 TSH 0.23(0.4-4.2) Ft3 4.2 (3.5-6.5) Ft4 15 (12-23)

Trial of eConsult service
My GP practice has recently launched the eConsult service where it said I could get the results of tests etc, so I tried it. I asked for the results from a recent blood test, and gave the date and time. The one that was supposed to be just vitamins. I had one email back saying the request would be

Did I mess up my blood tests?
Yesterday I went to have blood tests after being diagnosed with hypothyroidism a month ago. I took 25mcg of levythyroxine (?) before having the test but have now read on here that I shouldn't have done this? My TSH levels were 9.5 last month but are now back to normal but maybe this is why? I am in

No luck with GP
Hello you knowledgeable lot Armed with your advice i had a telecon with GP yesterday having requested by econsult a rise in levo from 75 to 100. I was quite upset (or much ruder words) by the end. He was at home and clearly had two small children with him chattering and playing which I found hugely

Update with Vit B12 & Folate results
Hi, I posted a little while ago with recent Thyroid results. SlowDragonsuggested I come back with some other results once I had them. I'm not diagnosed with a Thyroid issue as of yet. These results are following an appointment with an NHS Endocrinologist. I didn't think about him taking bloods at

Endometrioma and IVF
Just wondering anyone that has had endometriomas and IVF how big they were to continue with IVF? I have had 2 opinions from two hospitals so feel confused what to do! 1 has advised to have the cysts removed and then go straight into IVF whilst the other is reluctant to do surgery due to my AMH but

Endocrinologist won't medicate me?
My results are:TSH 2.3 (0.3-5.0) down from 5.32 T3 4.2 (3.5-5.8) down from 5.6 T4 11.2 (7.00-20.0) up from 8.6 Could this be from taking a month of supplements (recommended here, so thank you) & I'm now doing ok because of that? I'm still symptomatic (less so) I don't know?? Ultrasound & blood

Help new to this.
Really struggling. Started feeling unwell post Covid November 2023. Fatigued to the point of feeling like wading through treacle. Weight gain. Severe pain in shoulder and right heel to the point can’t walk some days. Ectopic heart beats that left me dizzy and faint. Constipation. And strange feeling

Back to life thanks to this forum! GP Next steps though - further levo increase?
You've been so helpful. Your collective knowledge has led to a diagnosis of (ords) hashimotos, my levo being upped to 75mg and I'm pain free for the first time in 5 YEARS! Thank you. I feel alive again. I armed myself with printed NICE guidelines and facts/ research and GP didn't resist this time and

Test results and what to ask my GP
I had routine bloods done last week mainly because of high cholesterol. My results showed not just high cholesterol, but also: Serum TSH 8.7 Serum free T4 12.8 So there's a note about me being subclinical hypothyroid and another about statins. So I'm guessing the GP is just going to want to put me

ft3 and t3 the same thing?
hi is Ft3 the same thing as T3? I think here in Scotland we only measure Tsh and t4, t3 (I think) at a push if requested but hard to get at GP. In England is it Ft3 I’ve seen on posts. That’s why I’m asking if they’re the same measurement. I’d like to know how well I’m converting and if not if I can
