Underactive thyroid
Hi, my thyroid levels have been up and down recently. I've been on 125mcg and felt fine until the GP decided, after a blood test, to lower the dose. The dosage I need isn't available so I'm now on 100mcg for 5 days and then 112mcg for 2 days. Is this an ok thing to do? Thanks.

Thyroid Function Tests
Hi just a quick question. A GP Iāve never seen before said he would do full Thyroid bloods after I had a week of palpitations. The blood form stated TFT which I presume is Thyroid Function Tests. My results are back & all that has been done is my TSH. What a waste of my time. Any suggestions on what

Doubling Dose of Thyroxine?
Hi, Iād like your thoughts and opinions (Iāll make the decision š) on doubling my thyroxine dose by taking two tablets per day. Iām on 50mg, been at that for years, but I still feel cold especially feet and hands. My TSH level is 3.28 and whilst it might be in range, I understand it should be more around

Wow the GP experience is realā¦
I was recently privately diagnosed with autoimmune Hashimotoās by a (NHS) endocrinologist with autoimmune Hashimotoās. I was diagnosed via bloods and a scan, and there is a significant family history of Hashimotoās. There was also a record of increasing TSH etc due to employer health checks. I think

Hi you lovely lot I donāt post much but really appreciate the knowledge and expertise shown on this site. I read all posts and research as much as I possibly can to manage my condition. So, Iām currently on 100mcg levo prescribed by GP somewhat reluctantly. I was taking 125mcg for a while as I thought

Thyroid feels sore but I am on my normal amount despite my last TSH being 0.02.
Recently my blood test showed TSH 0.02 with normal T4 and T3. The doctor tried to drop my medication but I stood my ground. However I have developed sore thyroid over the last few days. Could it be too much levothyroxine as the doctor said.

Hi, I am feeling rather unwell, but my blood tests are 'ok' so just wondering if anyone has any suggestions. I'm also very down in the dumps about it. I had Hashimotos 25 years ago, and after a long and difficult fight, managed to get my dose of Levothyroxine to 150/175mcg alternate days. Twice when

My question is,if my result is 1.9 at its highest point. What would my reading be if I measured it mid afternoon after eating? Does the result

Hello, just wondered peoples thoughts or experiences? I have never been diagnosed with a thyroid issue but after near 2 years of TTC and 2 miscarriages I do wonder if things could be better in the TSH/TPO antibody side of things. My GP has never shown a concern with it I have basically had to beg her

Thyroid help!
Alright itās been a while since I posted. I had my baby in July last year and since Iāve not been taking care of myself and forgetting my levothyroxine most mornings after sleepless nights. About 8 weeks ago I switched taking my Levo in the morning to the evening as I had more time while baby was asleep
