Finally! 12 months to get to 100mcg
Just a little celebration really, I feel quite emotional sitting here with my Levo. 12 months ago I was diagnosed subclinical and thanks to this forum I've kept going even. Without you lot, I'd probably still be stuck on 25! Just keeping my fingers crossed that this dose increase finally helps me to

Biotin in Vitamin B complex supplements
HiI've been talking a vitamin B complex for years, only to realise Biotin affects thyroid bloodworks, I can't believe I never knew! My questions is, do I continue with the complex or just some specific B vitamins? Or just stop taking them, when my thyroid bloods are due? Does Biotin affect all the blood

Thyroid or menopause - which to sort first?
I've just checked the app, and the last of my blood tests are back. I definitely have started perimenopause and as per my last post I have high TPOab, high TSH (7.5 with high ref being 4.26), and lowish T4 (14.2 of a 12—22 range). I have symptoms that overlap the two conditions, but also symptoms that

Need support with talking to GP/Private doctor. What should my next step be?
Hi. Shockingly, I have recently realised that I might be having allergic side effects to the levo I have been taking all these years. I am shocked by this. I didn't even know that Levo could have side effects because I was never told that I should be on the lookout. I have visited so many private endos

Supplement help to support thyroid
Hi Thyroid UK Community, I think Berberine, and selenium sounds like it could be beneficial, from what I have researched. There are studies to support that they could be beneficial. Does anyone have thoughts?

Hello, recent results : Serum tsh level 1.1 my/L (0.35-4.9) GP says normal. I am in horrendous pain in upper back and neck. This has been on and off for years. Seems to have started with a stressful event at work and lasted for weeks. GP will possibly refer me to pain clinic again. I am off work

TSH and Levothyroxine help
My TSH in November 2023 was 6.92 mlU/L whilst on 100mg Levothyroxine. My GP increased my dose to 125mg. Repeat TSH March 2024 is 0.106 mlU/L. Awaiting my GP appointment but wondering how an additional 25mg of Levo has taken my TSH result from one side of the normal range scale to the other?

BTF Webinar on Endocrine Disrupting Chemicals (EDCs)
