Hi ,would welcome any thoughts. Have been on Levo since April 2023, began on 25mg and after Sept test was increased to 50mg. Now blood results back an TSH 0.15 so Dr is happy! I am actually taking Cytomel 20mg at 1 daily in 4 divided doses also.
So what's wrong? Well, still tired as hell and in the past week I have begun to get pains/stiffness in my knee joints and down my legs. I'm quite fit; 3 times a week Yoga, walking etc so this is totally new. What is different is I began to drink lemon in water, 1/2 lemon daily. The other nagging thought is 2 coffees a day. I have been drinking coffee regularly for 2 years + now but wonder if it is time to give it a break as it may be inflammatory for me. Pulse raises etc, although occasionally drink decaffeinated.
Could the Levo be causing this stiffness or should I be looking elsewhere?

Sama your TSH is fairly irrelevant when you are controlling your thyroid hormone levels by your doses of levo and cytomel. What you need to know are your levels ofv ft4 and ft3. These and symptoms are what guides dosing not TSH .
I don't know why you started cytomel. Usually it is better to try higher doses of levo first as adding t3 is neither straightforward nor a quick fix.
If I were you I'd get blood tests done to see the levels of ft4 and ft3 and then consider what 1 dose change you might want to make next to improve things.
Without knowing your hormone levels you are merely dosing by guesswork and that is not going to work.
Also ESSENTIAL to test vitamin D, folate, ferritin and B12
What vitamin supplements are you taking
is your hypothyroidism autoimmune
Recommended that all thyroid blood tests early morning, ideally just before 9am, only drink water between waking and test and last dose levothyroxine 24 hours before test
This gives highest TSH, lowest FT4 and most consistent results. (Patient to patient tip)
On T3 (cytomel) day before test split T3 as 2 or 3 smaller doses spread through the day with last dose 8-12 hours before test
Private tests are available as NHS currently rarely tests Ft3 or all relevant vitamins
Testing options and includes money off codes for private testing
