Early pregnancy- very low TSH
Hi all, I wanted to get my thyroid levels checked *before* falling pregnant, to make sure that I had good levels for conception ( have previously struggling getting my T3 up and i have read that TSH should be around 1) - However had positive pregnancy tests last two days! I really need some help and advice please.
I am struggling. I quit smoking back when I was 30 and I’ve been unwell ever since. I’m now 38. They put me on levothyroxine about 18 months after I quit smoking because my tsh went up to 11, my free t4 went to the bottom of the normal range, my free t3 went sky high. I also developed antibodies at 350

Reading - is this normal?
Hi I have just paid for a private thyroid test - results attached. The readings are showing within normal range yet I still feel extremely tired and achy. My vitamin levels were all checked a month ago and were fine. I currently take 100mg of Levothyroxine, wondering if I should try upping to 125mg

Kidney & leg pain following an increase in levothyroxine
Hi everyone, Has anyone else experienced pain in one side of the body after increasing levothyroxine dose? I have been experiencing terrible pain in the whole body, but more on left side of the body, and more intensely in left lower abdominal which I guess is my kidney and whole left leg! And also

My TSH level is under the range.
I value this knowledgeable forum very much, thank you for all your help. I had my blood tested last week. The draw was at 9.30am and my last Levo medication was taken the previous morning at 8am. I am currently on 125 mg Levothyroxine which I take on waking up and only drink water for the first 2

Levothyroxine optimised?
Hi lovely people! My latest thyroid results were: TSH 1,27 (0,380-5,330μUI/mL) (18% through range) fT4 1,16 (0.38-1,40 ng/dL) (88% through range) fT3 3,79 (2,5-3,9pg/mL) (92% through range) Miraculously they finally tested fT3 for the first time, and I was so happy to see that I seem to be converting

Would be grateful for your thoughts on my blood results before endo apt please, still feeling exhausted and weak. Thank you
Hello, I’ve had an underactive thyroid for 8 years after having my first child, looks like Hashimotos. Currently taking 100mcg levothyroxine and 15mcg liothyronine (10mcg on waking and 5 around 3pm). Also on HRT patches as am mid 40s and perimenopausal. I’m gluten free, have had SIBO in the past.

Hi, thank you for letting me join🙂
I have a long history of Hypothyroidism. A lot of ups and downs on the journey. I was prescribed T3 quite a few years ago but then had it withdrawn because of cost. It took me 10 years to get it reinstated and get my life back on track. It's been a long battle. Am looking forward to connecting with others

Help with adding levo to T3 only
Hi, I've been on T3 only for many years (62.5 mcg). I've switched from levo to T3 only in the time because I had an elevated rT3 and still hypo symptoms despite elevated dose. Every endo I've seen in the last years said I should go back levo because my T3 levels are through the roof. They don't seem

Thoughts on NDT’s and Metavive
Hello Am doing lots of research into treatment of hypothyroidism. Looking at diet and supplements to get maximum benefit from treatment. It would appear that levothyroxine is the main prescribed medicine. Has anyone used DTE’s or metavive alongside it or in addition to it?

levothyroxine and antibiotics?
I’m currently taking antibiotics for an infection after having blood test. Should I be taking Levothyroxine at a different time to antibiotics. Not sure if it will affect absorption of thyroxine?

cramp in throat
Thanks for the good advice I’ve received already. Since being diagnosed and starting levo late December I have occasionally had an uncomfortable and unnerving cramping sensation in my throat when yawning. However, today it came on three times when I was just drinking a cup of water. It then came on
