Post-Tamoxifen Hot Flashes at Night
I took
Tamoxifen
for 5 years. Have been off for 2. Still having hot flashes, but the strange part is I wake up about 30 seconds before the hot flash, sometimes I feel a quiver in my stomach, sometimes I’m cold. Then the flash starts.

Tamoxifen
Just in case anyone is in a similar position I wanted to give an up-date on my experience on
Tamoxifen
. I have been taking it for two months and tolerating it well for 1 st reoccurrence.

experience w/neutropenia?!
hey all- my husband is dealing w/neutropenia. he takes casodex &
tamoxifen
daily. have any of you experienced this before? hematologist thinks it may be related to the
tamoxifen
, but isn't sure. worried about him being even more immunocompromised right now.

Great news
I was diagnosed June 2018, started with
Tamoxifen
, switched to Ibrance, Faslodex and Zometa. I will have another pet scan in 6 months. I pray you all get “nothing lit up” results from your scans. God bless.

Advice on rT3 and autoimmune disease
I had breast cancer in 1999, radio, chemo and
tamoxifen
and am all clear, but do wonder if the treatments affected my thyroid. I have zero help from GPs so have resorted to medichecks and after a terrible episode with TEVA I now generally feel ok, though am always tired from mid afternoon.

Told aromatase inhibitor is not working?
, I don't know how to make an informed decision on risk/reward of
Tamoxifen
. Both cancers were Stage 1 with no lymph nodes involved. Any wisdom on
Tamoxifen
would be appreciated, especially the clotting risk. Thankyou!

Tamoxifen side effects after treatment completed
Hi- I have been taking
tamoxifen
-Nolvadex brand for 3 months- despite my post menopausal status- age-66- my oncologist thought it would be best to use
Tamoxifen
not an aromatase inhibitor- different side effects which would cause joint pain and as I have arthritis- thought I would tolerate

Constant thin uterus lining and TShaped uterus
Also what about
tamoxifen
? I tried pessary viagra a while back which didn’t have much of an impact. Have started acupuncture again but feel I’m now running out of options and maybe this just isn’t to be for us.

8 years on!
Does anyone else suffer with this, is it the
tamoxifen
that causes it? I am worried I have carcinoid syndrome?

Last time she had BC she had a lumpectomy, radiotherapy and 5 years taking
tamoxifen
. She is having a mastectomy this time because the cancer is in the same breast, but they have suggested she has reconstructive surgery . Thanks in advance.:)

3rd Cancelled FET...
This cycle I was on 20mg of
Tamoxifen
, 2mg of oestrogen 3 times a day, aspirin & clexane and on Friday (CD10) my lining was the best it's been at 7mm, we decided to push it until today and it's now at 6.5mm. Cancelled.

Letrozole for 5 or 10 years
I’ve just heard that there is a possibility that I might be prescribed
tamoxifen
for 5 yrs instead of continuing with letrozole which I’ve been on for 5 yrs. I think that in spite of letrozole side effects I’d rather stay on it than change. What do others think?

What to expect from Letrazole
Sending you all positive vibes wherever you are on your BC journey After more than 3 years on
tamoxifen
I have changed to Letrazole..I had (luckily) hardly any side effects from
tamoxifen
and my oncologist explained yesterday what I could expect from Letrazole..but I would welcome some real life experiences

Possible Side Effect of Post Cancer Med
Now they have put me on
Tamoxifen
for another 5 years. I'm just wondering if
Tamoxifen
can cause a bit of depression? If you've experienced this can you give me some ideas on how to alleviate it......or is it just the lack of estrogen in my body?
