Tamoxifen Postmenopause?
I'd be interested in hearing from anyone who decided to try tamoxifen as a treatment for MBC because she had done well on it as an adjuvant therapy. I had been free of cancer since 2006 when I was diagnosed with extensive MBC last year (13 years later). I've now been on 40 mg of tamoxifen for almost

Hi ladies, I wanted to come on and let you all know how my mums appointment went last week. I use this forum a lot and it’s good to have information available for all to read if needed I’ve written before about her ca125 going from 10 to 15 to 18 and the last reading was 17. The doc wasn’t concerned

Now starting ADT, any advice for the side effects?
I am 66 from Romania. In 2014 RRP G3+4 PSA 5,17. In 2017 PSA grew from undetectable slowly to 0.32, having SBRT. Now again increasing to 0.62. Today I am starting ADT Bicalutamid 150mg and Tamoxifen 10mg for 6 months. Any advice for the side effects? To do something in advance to avoid some of them

Tamoxifen and running.
Hi, I've found my way here from the C25K community. I've recently graduated (again) as I had to start over after BC treatment ended in January. Does anyone else find running and exercise really tough while on Tamoxifen? Any tips to help with the back, leg and calf pains?

Hi everyone - I'm posting on behalf of my mom, Maria. She was diagnosed with Stage II breast cancer in 2012, had a mastectomy and was put on tamoxifen (no chemo). We found out it came back in September of 2018. She currently has 2 tumors in her bone - t2 and l4 regions (only bone, no organs). She has

Hi Ladies my pharmacy informed me today they are out of stock of all brands of Tamoxifen apart from one brand which I can not tolerate. Apparently Uk wholesalers out of stock due to Covid 19 . which is a little worrying for everyone. I have my 4 monthly check up end of June (although haven't heard about

Has anyone changed from letrozole & ibrance to tamoxifen after progression of tumors?
Hi, my mum has been on ibrance & letrozole for just over 1 yr. now (mets to the spine) and latest scans (due to hospital admission with fever and confusion) showed new tumor in brain! Oncologist has suggested radiotherapy for the new tumor (she had 2 days ago and so far so good) and a change of meds

Phone call from my Oncologist
This post is for Sandra and anyone else who is interested. Sandra asked me to let her know about the Dr. visit. Got the call from my Oncologist this am. Firstly, she gave me the great news that the cost of Ibrance/Faslodex would now be free of charge. Previously it was costing $852.00 per month
