Testing if Aromatise inhibitors work for you- you might be able to stop taking them
I recently had a test ordered that I found out was from a sample from my lumpectomy from 6 years ago. It was a test to see if Tamoxifen or any of the aromatase inhibitors work are helpful to take for my breast cancer. I would need to look up my exact diagnosis as I can’t remember exactly. I know it was

Ibrance v. Kisqali
Good afternoon! Looking for information to compare Ibrance and Kiqali myself, I came across this discussion. I took Ibrance for a year and really struggled with terrible brain fog to the extent that I could hardly work, joint pain was awful, had some hair loss, and the usual neutropenia and blood work

Is this normal?
Hi there🥰. Its been awhile since I’ve written but I’m always thankful for the information in this group. After 5 years on exemestane, I received the following report after my last scans. Progression…and I’m scared. Today my MO put me on tamoxifen with scans scheduled in 2-3 months. Is this a normal

4yrs post first diagnosis
I was diagnosed and treated for breast cancer in the fall of 2019- had a lumpectomy and have been on Tamoxifen since then. I am scheduled for my yearly diagnostic mammogram on Thursday but today I noticed a peculiar change in my other breast- redness in one distinct area- the same place as my last

How long should I continue with bicalutamide after radiotherapy?
I just completed 40 external beam IMRT treatments two weeks ago. I was Gleason 3 +4, negative bone and CT scans, and although my Decipher score was a disappointing 68, it forecast that with radiotherapy I have a 9% chance of metastasis in 10 years and a 12% chance of mortality in 15 years. Now age

Afinitor/Everolimus and Tamoxifen is next :(
Hi everyone - it's time for me to change treatment again. Well my time on the Hope trial was pretty short-lived (December to June with pretty much progression showing for 1/2 that time) and now officially over. I'm ok with ending the trial because the travel out of State, and insurance issues were becoming

side effects of Tamoxifen
I joined Health Unlocked in 2016 when my daughter was diagnosed with both breast cancer and diabetes. She was 36 at the time so it was the full works in terms of treatment. She underwent a lumpectomy in her left breast, chemo, radiation and has been on hormone therapy - 1 tab of Tamoxifen a day since

Insomnia with new brand of Tamoxifen
I am feeling very sorry for myself at the moment as I am dealing with persistent insomnia on a new generic brand of Tamoxifen. I had been prescribed Nolvadex D and was taking it successfully more or less for 3 and a half years. Unfortunately Nolvadex is no longer being manufactured so I am now taking

Hi ….from a newly dx’d comrade from the UK
I’m 56 and I’ve recently been dx’d with lobular ER+ breast cancer (2cm), go back to see consultant on Monday for MRI results. I have a lumpectomy & sentinel lymph node removal scheduled for the 28th March. Drs Initial plan was for removal, tamoxifen & chemo….but that may have changed since MRI

Enzalutamide/Xtandi monotherapy as ADT with fewer side effects than Lupron
