AI's vs Tamoxifen?
Hello everyone. I'm new here and recently diagnosed with DCIS E & P+. I had a lumpectomy 2 weeks ago and the pathology came back with a 5mm area of invasive DC, Her2 negative. I'm scheduled for another surgery to remove more tissue, as the margin was not wide enough, along with a sentinel node biopsy

Mets to Omentum and Bones
Hi everyone, this is my first post. Yesterday I was diagnosed with stage IV breast cancer after a biopsy confirmed mets to the Omentum. They tell me it is also in my bones but I now have to go for a bone scan. My journey began in 2009 when I was diagnosed with ILC in the left breast. It had also infiltrated

Lady Care Static magnetic device
I have just bought one of these magnets today to help reduce the symptoms of the menopause and side effects of tamoxifen. (Ie: hot flushes, night sweats etc). Has anybody else tried this device? I understand it is safe to use with Herceptin and tamoxifen, but I am currently taking some heart drugs

Devastated- yet more bad news
So 4 years down the line. 4 surgeries, countless bloods, clomid, tamoxifen, trigger shots, scans etc. They tested my AMH- I'm 29 and have a low egg reserve and early menopause. What frustrates me most is that I have been having hot flushes for 3-4 years. I have been under 3 different hospitals, spoke

Tamoxifen
Hi Ladies, I've been on Tamoxifen since the end of March and initially just had hot flushes that only lasted a few seconds so was quite manageable. The last few weeks the hot flushes are getting worse and lasting much longer which again I can cope with but it's the pain and stiffness in my lower legs

Tamoxifen+ menstrual cycle
Hi, I've been on tamoxifen since April this year+ so far no side effects. My period is 8 days late+ the last one only lasted a couple of days. Is this normal? I'm 39+ had chemotherapy, period stopped after 3rd (of 6) sessions+ returned about 4/5 weeks after stopping. So chemopause was only 4 months

Sore feet....
I am experiencing very painful feet following my treatment. I had FEC-T, Herceptin and now in Tamoxifen. Oncologist says it isnt a side effect of this as it is not joint pain. Has anyone else experienced this folloing treatment.

Genetic Screening
Hello ! I am new, I apologise if this is JUST for people with or surviving cancer, feel free to tell me to bog off! Genetic screening tells me I am at moderate increased risk of developing breast cancer. I have been screened before and usually have appointment straight after, always okay! This time

We laugh and joke between ourselves and friends about ' chemo brain' but I intrigued - I am 5 years in remission and 5 years into 10 years of tamoxifen - my cognitive ability since chemo has been consistently rubbish and I have seen little improvement in it ( I am or was an intelligent woman - but these
