To be on the safe side I would ask your breast cancer nurse or oncologist .. Good luck x

hey, Gambia sounds like it'll be an amazing trip! I've been on tamoxifen for nearly 2 years and am heading to Peru in a few weeks...I'm not planning to stop my tamoxifen, can I ask why you're thinking about stopping it for your trip? Is it the interaction with the injections? Vx

Hi just see your post, I'm just a little worried, about vaccination and tamoxifen, I'v also read that some people do have a break from tamoxifen, I'm probably over thinking things, but more reassured reading bits on this site, do you have to take maleria tabs for Peru?? Xx

Hey, as the others have suggested could be a good call to check in with breast care nurse to see what they think.. I don't think I need malaria tabs for Peru but definitely taking max strength jungle juice with me!xx
