Times staff writer TAMPA - Tampa scientists Michael and Patricia Lawman imagine a day when cancer could be treated with a single needle prick and no debilitating

Shingles Vaccine
My Rheumatologist has recommended that I get a shingles vaccination before starting biologics. Anyone else under 50 and received vaccine? Any adverse events? I’ve read mixed reviews since no studies have been conducted on safety of vaccine in patients with autoimmune disease. I am getting it tomorrow

Someone asked about Low Dose Naltrexone.
I thought I would post this on main site so that people can read. I have an unusual journey. I have been on LDN for about 2 weeks now. I am not sure if it has helped but I think that perhaps it is along with the other things I am trying. I developed disabling PMR in late March of this year (2019).

Hi All Not a new subject I know - I see Yoga Bonnie had it a few months ago and had to cancel a trip. I do realise the UK is currently in the midst of a heatwave and likely not conducive to spreading flu bugs - but down here in the OZ Winter this year they have been rather 'rife'. Pneumonia Vaccine
Morning all, after a chest X-ray and a spirometer test, I have been diagnosed with mild COPD. Last week the nurses suggested I have the pneumonia vaccine. I asked her if there are any side effects, she said only a pain in my arm 😃 Has anyone here had any other side effects from the vaccine. I ask

Hello from Jenny
Hello , I left the group for awhile , but decided to come back to see if there was any progress made or any good advice. Just in case someone is interested , I wrote to the Neumorod company in Ireland. Unfortunately because I have a Cochlear Implant at this stage they can’t help me, I thought this might

Another tumour 😩
Sadly the cystoscopy showed another tumour today. The fourth return since 2016 looks like the Mitomycin isn’t working for me. I’m thinking BCG is the next step after the operation on 3 September. Hoping it’s another benign one like the last time 🤞🌻 Hope you’re having a more positive start to the week

I should know better and actually I do but that does not stop me when it comes to needles. Yesterday I had to get a flu shot. No big deal to normal people but as we all know when it comes to any sort of needle I am the biggest baby in the world. Actually they are probably braver than me. It amazes
