medicheck results, what to do next?
I have posted my results before from Medichecks and I persuaded my youngest daughter to take the thyroid and vitamin test recently due to her symptoms of lethargy and the fact that not only I have hypothyroidism but also her Dad and older sister. Her iron plus Vit D were all low so she is now taking

No wonder Iām feeling unwell again. TSH up, T4 and T3 down. So glad I have started on 75mcgs Levo now. Hopefully Iāll start to feel better again soon.

Why do I suddenly feel terrible but still taking Armour?
I have been happy as a clam and able to function and be part of the world since I started Armour two grains a day in Sept 2022. This was after a year on levo that did nothing for me. Around Xmas 2023, I started feeling sluggish and constipated. Bloods were done mid Feb through my private thyroid doctor

ANA & Connective Tissue Disorder results Graves
Hoping for some help. I got called into the doctors on Monday to discuss my latest bloods & my continued weight loss, I had already discussed my thyroid bloods with the endocrine nurse so was not really sure what is was about. My GP said that I had tested positive for ANA & connective tissue disease

I have had an underactive thyroid for 30 years. My Levothyroxine dose is now 100mcg daily and was reduced from the 125 mcg during the pandemic after I lost 3 stones in weight. I have never been given my full annual thyroid test results in the past but they have now been made accessible online. When

Hopefully getting closer to just a bit more tweaking...?
Right, over the speed bump that happened around Feb. After speaking to endo, reduced Levo to 50mcg and am back up to 5mcg x3/ day T3. I have been feeling more stable and a bit more alert, more energy for about 4 weeks. Just recently started slowing down again, sluggish bowels, cold intolerance, dry skin

Add more t4 and quit t3 ?
I just got my test results back , I'm on levothyroxine 75mcg/ 5 days a week and 100mcg 2/days a week. I also take 3mcg of Cytomel. My body can't handle a higher dose of Cytomel. It makes me very anxious. I am wondering if I should go back to T4 only, maybe a bit more? (I must add that there were

So still can't get Sneaky GP to put my repeat px Levo back to 150 mcg daily. She also refuses to remove or edit records where she wrongly entered that I agreed to reduction to 125mcg daily. I have had lengthy discussions re this. She is fixated on TSH and keeps trying the you'll get cancer, heart

Iāve been taking Morningside t3 (small pills) for almost a year (hospital precriotion) and have been changed to large gel based Roma capsules. Has anyone else experienced this brand and with what effects if any?

Hi, My daughter is 40 years old and a senior secondary school teacher. She's been ill more or less continuously for the past nine or ten years, and getting worse. She's 5ft 7in tall and used to be a size 8. She is really obese now. She has a fairly small apetite but admits to drinking too much white

Does anyone prefer TEVA to ROMA Liothyronine?
For many years I was on Cynomel but after a long time in hospital I was only given T4. When I was back home I spoke to the GP and he prescribed T3 by TEVA which really suited me. Unfortunately this was changed and I was prescribed ROMA instead which made me very tired and altogether didn't suit me

working out what my results mean
Firstly thank you for all the help Iāve received already with my numerous questions. My question today is how do I fully understand the percentage through range? I have posted my results before and Iāve been told my t3 is low and Iām a poor converter. As an example my most recent results are:- TSH
