Laparoscopy and Diagnosis - any advice appreciated
I'm completely torn about getting a laparoscopy after seeing a gynaecologist for the first time yesterday. My GP has been so lovely and supportive, adamant that there is an underlying problem (potentially endo) and we will get to the bottom of it. I had an ultrasound which showed cysts on both ovaries

Is a Hiatus hernia related to my systemic sclerosis?
Hello I suffer with limited cutaneous
systemic
sclerosis
. Due to swallowing problems, heartburn and acid I had an endoscopy where they discovered a sliding hiatus hernia. Are these connected to the disease? Many thanks X

Hormonal coil
Hi, I had this fitted 4 weeks ago but I am still bleeding! I had a full period when I was due and then I slightly stopped bleeding but then I had light sex and it made me bleed again! Is this still settling as I read it can take up to 2 months 😬

Hormonal coil fitted - still getting abdominal cramps
Hi, I had the hormonal coil fitted 8 weeks ago and still getting abdominal cramps. Is this normal? It's the first time of having a coil and I'm struggling to get into the sexual health clinic to get it checked and my own doctors just say I need to go to the sexual health clinic! Thank you.

Raynaud phenomenonÂ
Secondary Raynaud phenomenon is associated with an underlying disease, usually a connective tissue disease of which
systemic
sclerosis
is the most common. Because vasospasm is associated with concurrent ischemia, attacks are typically painful and asymmetric involvement of digits or hands is common.

Idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis
I have had a pretty rubbishy few months now with worsening symptoms to my body through
Systemic
Sclerosis
...and severe osteoarthritis in my joints. Every time I have to go to hospital I learn something new, this time...idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis...this is a downward slope for my lung damage.

Swollen hands
I have recently been diagnosed with

. I have had Raynaud's for many years. I find that my hands are almost always swollen. Is this something other people suffer from?

Is it safe to have a PET-scan with hypothyroidism (and diabetes type 1)?
I have been tested on
systemic
sclerosis
because I have the corresponding antibodies, but am not diagnosed having that because the total picture of symptoms does not correspond.

How to get diagnosed?
The most recent dr I saw feels that this could be
systemic
sclerosis
. My question is has anyone had symptoms suggestive of autoimmune however the blood work is inconsistent and therefore they haven’t been diagnosed?
