Weird toe?

I have secondary Raynauds through Systemic Sclerosis....my query is....does anyone else have a toe that only half of it goes purple after a shower?

I know this may appear daft, but the second toe next to the big toe goes purple down to the first joint and all my toes on the same foot has pins and needles most of the time. Also, my feet are freezing most of the time too despite having two pairs of socks and slippers on too. I end up having to get a hot water bottle under them whilst sitting on the couch.

yes i have raynaud's in my feet all over ask about amlodipine, sindelifil and other meds might help. thermal socks you can get on line that might help, warmer climate also. i have crest syndrome so there is no getting around it. pain specialist, rheumatologist. hope that helps you. keep a journal also of your symptoms. julie

The toe next to my little toe on my right foot half of it goes white in the shower. Strangely it is worse when I wash my hair. What a strange thing scleroderma is. I am in pain eith my feet when 2aljing or standing but ok when sitting down.b

I am a 61year old male and have had your same condition since Nov.2011. The toenail on the big toe on my right foot has been half purple for quite a while,at least a year or so.But it has not been a source of any problem whatsoever.The toenail on the big toe of my left foot went purple about 15 months ago.It was fairly brittle and I detached it.It has since regrown but it has its normal colour.Remember, we have one illness but the issues tied to it are multiple and varied and many doctors have no clue as to what the problems we have arise from.
