Severe head sweats on Levothyroxine.
Dr suggested he could put me on
Synthroid
, but the problem continued and is becoming unbearable. I read the bottle ingredients and
Synthroid
is LEVOTHYROXINE. Has anyone else had these severe back of the head, head sweats from any brand of Thyroid medications???

Before supplementing with more T3, should IRON be adjusted?
I take .64 mcg
Synthroid
(Lexvothyroxine ) and 2.5 mcg T3 (Liothyronine). I fasted prior to my labs according to instructions on this forum, did not take either my
Synthroid
nor T3 though I usually take my T3 at 6 a.m. so it was probably barely in my system.

Liver Diagnosis - Does Any of This Sound Familiar?
Thyroid medication is being changed from
Synthroid
to Tirosint since I’m having malabsorption issues. My Gastro doctors refuses to admit that this has anything to do with my liver condition worsening and went as far to say the liver doesn’t generate pain.

One thing about her death which they discovered apart from the dangerous drug she used to make her throw up (one that hospitals use to treat poisoning cases in children, it makes them vomit) was that she had been using
Synthroid
at 5 times the dose to raise her metabolism even though she wasn't hypo.

Does having Hashimotos put one in the higher risk category if we acquire Covid19. I only take Synthroid and no immunosuppressant drugs.

Any advice on recent labs- anyone have edema of chest cavity and below shoulder blades?
I was on T3 - 5mg daily
Synthroid
- 75 mcg daily 3 weeks ago my Endo took me off T3 because of the symptoms I mentioned. Once he heard me say anxiety and insomnia the T3 was eliminated. I asked for a
Synthroid
increase but he wants me to wait 6 weeks....oh boy.

NDT vs synthetic combo drugs?
This would equal taking 100 mcg of
Synthroid
and 20 mcg of Cytomel. I know some alternative practioners in the US claim that NDT will worsen autoimmune conditions such as Hashi's since NDT contains allergens; however, I did well on NDT for years so doubt that is an issue with me.

advice on new lab results
Currently taking 125mcg
Synthroid
. I have a history of PTC and TT, so my endocrinologist wants to keep my TSH between 0.1 and 0.5. I'm feeling pretty well compared to a few months ago, but definitely not optimal.

I am losing hope. Anyone out there?
I take brand name
synthroid
only. Why aren’t my labs stabilizing? Why have I been undertreated for so long? I AM MISERABLE. I actually feel like I’m dying. 34 yo F. 117 lbs. Graves’ disease for 10 years. My weight has fluctuated between 116-119 post op. I’m Probably 5 lbs of edema.

Accurate blood tests & minimum levels required
I had been diagnosed with hypothyroidism when I was about 12 and had been on about .025mg of
Synthroid
or levothyroxine for 18 years... hypothyroidism runs in both sides of my family and my mother, father and sister also all have always take medication.

“You’re On Your Own”
He is nothing but a
Synthroid
pusher! Told me to stay off of it. Took blood. TSH at 3.20. That’s all the info I received. Said he couldn’t help me with my shortness of breath, insomnia or the Hot Rusty Nail taste in my mouth! He can only offer me
Synthroid

Over these drugs!
I stopped taking
Synthroid
6 days ago. Sick of insomnia, severe metal taste in my mouth and shortness of breath. Couldn’t take generics. Made me so sick I couldn’t eat anything! “Going off your thyroid meds could hurt your heart!” Right...and being fully awake for 5 days straight is healthy?

Is t3 resistance real?
I was researching cytomel as I have some at hand and was planning on adding a bit to my
synthroid
but now I’m confused as I have found various doctors recommending against it because you can down regulate your t3 receptors by using extra t3 and so making your symptoms worse.
