Why would my Alk Phos go up after just starting urso?
Hi All, I have a question and wondered if anyone had an answer to if they had a similar experience. I just started taking Urso and have been on it now close to a month my recent blood work shows that my Alk Phos has increased rather than decreased. While I know it may take awhile for Urso to potentially

Time if day for taking medicine
I want to try taking medicine at night. Is natural thyroid or thyroxin likely to interfere with sleep?I'm completely shattered all the time apart from waking due to work stress so I doubt I would notice a small effect.

Next Endo Meeting, T3...
I am going to ask my Endocrinologist for a trial of T3 at my next meeting, as it was suggested by them at my last meeting that if my last dose change didn't help, they would recommend a trial on the basis of significant persistent symptoms. What should I know about this, and what questions are wise

Hi, this is a strange question I have but are the HCG strips accurate? I came to know I was pregnant through 4 strip tests which all came positive, got confirmation from fertility nurse over email that those are positive. I also got bloods done which confirms I ovulated as well.I started bleeding at

ferratin blood level
Hi, I’ve got a ferritin level of 40.5 (30 - 169) To me this is low isn’t it? Also I have been taking spatone iron sachets for 6 months so would you say I’d need a higher iron supplement? If so could anymore please advise on a decent one ?

Good source of t3
Has anyone sourced their own T3 or is the best option a prescription from a Dr? I'm 10 years from having total thyroidectomy. T4 only suppression treatment for Papillary Cancer. I've established, through another post and my blood results, that my T4 percentage isnt good and my coversion to T3 is poor

Restarting T3
Hi, I’m restarting T3 tomorrow after I do a finger prick test tomorrow to see what my thyroid levels are like after being off T3 since the end of January. I’m starting on a quarter tablet. How often should I raise the amount? And after how long should I get my levels tested? Thanks

Thyroid Cancer Reoccurrence?
I'm having a bit of a panic. Had my thyroid panel done through medichecks with THYROGLOBULIN of 12. Had a TT for papillary thyroid cancer 13 years ago when I was 26. I was discharged from oncology 2 years ago and thyroglobulin not been checked since. I was always told it should be undectable. Should

Hypo energy 'crashes' on a daily basis?
I am currently taking 125 mcg Levo and 10mcg T3 daily. I take the meds together around 2pm. Having finally got relief from so many symptoms (eg fatigue, muscle pains, zombie brain, low mood etc) recently, I am experiencing almost daily energy 'crashes'. They are quite overwhelming. I get a headache

Heme vs Non-Heme Iron Supplements
Since being diagnosed with low ferritin three months ago, I've been on ferrous sulfate tablets (1 - 65mg along with 500 mg vitamin C twice a day with meals). It's been working fine (went from 11 to 45 in a month) without any side effects. However, early on, I purchased a bottle of Three Arrows Heme after

Temp advice please
My temperature was 35.3 this morning and has been below this. I thought I might be overmedicated but I am unsure if this is under treatment due to a strong medication I have been given for an infection (or if this is unrelated). My cheeks have been puffy and I feel unwell and I am not sure if I need

Was it a TIA?
Hi all, recently had a suspected TIA nearly 3 months ago. I got home one night and went to lock the door and I couldn’t get the key in the lock. I had no pain, no disorientation or confusion, no blurred vision, no pins and needles or numbness, no slurred speech, my left arm just felt a bit heavy. I immediately

Multiple rounds
hey all Just joined, just completed our first IVF round, we had 2 fertilised embryos (had to do frozen cycles), one in September which wasn’t successful and just had the news our final embryo didn’t develop as the pregnancy test was negative, we’re devastated obviously and I want to do another round
