Interferon: Short of Breath?
I had spinal
surgery
in July and preop EKG indicated some damage to heart. Follow up with internist and EKG now normal, more investigations are pending. I have controlled HT but no diabetes, non significant elevated cholesterol and no symptoms of heart disease so far.

Do Drs get a bonus for prescribing certain drugs ?
Late yesterday afternoon I had a call from my
surgery
. It was a Dr I had never heard of or had I spoken to her before. She was suggesting I were put on statins! I asked for what reason she were suggesting this.

Medicinal Cannabis
He’s suggested that he would refer me back to the Spinal Surgeons and I’m very concerned as they originally said it was too risky to have further
surgery
due to my Heart Condition. Does anyone have any experience with Medical Cannabis?

Another Vaccine Dilemma! To have, or not to have a Tetanus Booster.
The pruning cutters were old, had definitely had soil on them and were quite dirty, so knowing I was overdue a tetanus booster, and knowing that 'gardening injuries' are regarded as a high risk for contracting tetanus, I phoned my GP

Had
surgery
and chemo now on 3 weekly injections of Herceptin & 6monthly bone infusions and letrozole daily. Side effects fluctuate from day to day, fatigue, achey fluey, fuzzy head, indigestion, dizziness. In between I'm fine, seem to have a surge of energy then droop.

Hi Everyone 👋, Just returning from Las Palmas Gran Canaria. 1st time away since my Bypass
surgery
. Smallish rooftop pool some couple of dozen sun beds 🛌 all facing the rectangular pool. Very serene atmosphere 👌 only ever one or two people taking a dip.

Trying to contact a GP
Well I’ve just tried to contact my
surgery
this morning. The online contact told me no more spaces available until tomorrow to even lodge my symptoms for someone to read. This was at 8:30am. I tried phoning the
surgery
, no luck there. A recorded message saying no more phone calls being taken!

We have to take her to a specialist to make sure that is the case but either way she would need
surgery
that would take part of her jaw.

"I Walked Out One Summer's Morning"
The title though refers when I walked out to a taxi in summer 2020 for day
surgery
. I felt rotten and it turned out I was developing sepsis. Instead of a day in hospital and an angioplasty it became three months and an amputation!

I have talked with a surgeon who can't guarantee me that he wouldn't have to do open
surgery
b/c the tumor seems attached to scar tissue which is attached to the lung wall. My radiation oncologist cautions about 'toxicity' from too much radiation.

worried in France
Because I live in France, if you go to the
surgery
and say it’s to do with your heart, they send you straight to A and E. so I don’t want to do this unless I have to. I take Bisoprolol 1.25 mg twice daily and have Flecainide as PIP.

A quick rant!!
I rang my
Surgery
today but couldn't speak to my new Dr. . I told the Secretary that I am much worse and would she let him know . I had seen him on Monday and he said that he would find out how long the MRI waiting list is and whether it is the 18 months that he thinks it is !
