Zoladex and HRT
He also said bowel
surgery
tends to lead to more
surgery
. So, he is pushing Zoladex injection which he says will shrink the fibroids and stop the flooding by turning off my ovaries.

Advice after possible Covid
UPDATE: My GP
surgery
suggested I probably did have Covid and I've been diagnosed with asthma, which was a surprise, and this morning had hives from an allergic reaction to something (who knows what - I ate a cheese sandwich). Covid, the gift that keeps on giving.

Finally a date
I'm being admitted on Tuesday and due for
surgery
on Wednesday. Panic has set in and I feel a wreck. I know others have been and are going through this but how do I keep my anxiety at bay and stop worrying about dying. Be great to hear from anyone who has successfully come through a bypass.

surgery
find some comfort as I have from other experiences posted here. Good luck to all.

Anxiety is back as bad as ever
Then the other day, out of the blue, another call from
surgery
regarding cholesterol results. All these diagnoses were from bloods taken last June! Latest call was to tell me I needed added meds along side statins to see if they could bring my cholesterol down.

Opinions please - do I need to worry?
In other words, how worried should I be, or should I email the
surgery
and monitor over the weekend? Any thoughts? Please

Oh my.. so this is why Epstein is on-leave..
However, post-surgical tests revealed that the initial diagnosis was incorrect and the
surgery
was unnecessary." Oh my.. (he upgraded my PCA from G9 to G10.. the G9 was the assessment by two other pathologists, but one was 5-4 and the other 4-5.. so 10 might well have been correct.)

Debating whether to have myomectomy
I have three fibroids at the top of my uterus that appear to be removable through keyhole
surgery
. I'm debating whether to go ahead. I'm nearly 44 and feel that time is against me to start having children, but at the same time I want to try every option possible before deciding to stop.

I need ankle
surgery
again and I’ve been hobbling on it for 12 months, it’s swollen and very painful. Steroids into the bone and tendon failed to ease it. Could the fact a part of my body is in a constant state of inflammation aggravate my RA?

Failing ADT
I guess more radiation is an outside possibility but I think that train has already run as I am getting hip replacement
surgery
on Wednesday because the 2 previous times my hip was radiated caused necrosis (lack of blood flow).

Total knee replacement?
He had previously mentioned knee
surgery
, to be considered after stabilising RA, which seems very successful so far, allowing for the loss of strength and stamina. I had never been keen having watched others struggling with two long sticks. However, they are getting worse.

Ankle Surgery and Rehab
I'm having another ankle
surgery
on August 18th and am lucky in that I have the same surgeon, James Brown, that did my other ankle. I've had quite thorough health checks and am pleased with the outcome.
