so my hubby tried methadone and then Suboxone but both gave him severe anxiety and insomnia. So he stopped taking them. He is also on 1200 mg Horizant
Doc ordered .5 mg Xanax for him. It did help with sleep immensely. So my hubby decided to test something out. He take 5 mg meth around 2 pm, His Horizant at 6 pm and then the Xanax about an hour or so before bed. He is sleeping longer with very little RL the past few days. (Knock on wood)

That's great. He may find that his body adjusts to the methadone after a month. He can then slowly reduce the xanax and the horizant.I also get severe panic attacks and anxiety on opioids, even though I'd never experienced them in my life before.
I used pregabalin 50mg for a short time and it stopped the panic..I then reduced it and now take 12.5mg ( half a capsule) because it also reduces opioid head sweats.
