Boom!! Dexa Scan Normal.
I'm on T3 medication only, which was prescribed very reluctantly by my NHS endo. I've slowly upped my dose over the last 12 months, and whilst he was happy (ish) to prescribe 60mcg per day, he pretty much flipped his lid at our last appointment in January when I told him I was taking 80mcg (and all in

Thyroid test denied
Hi everyone, I'm very confused right now. For the first time in fifteen years, I had a GP asking all sorts of irrelevant questions when I asked my thyroid to be tested and the Free T3 included. In the end, according to them, the lab didn't test the FRee T3. Obviously, this is due to the GP's input

Tweaking T3
Hello, Sorry to post yet again. I've gotten so much advice already and I will most probably have a go at the single dosing of T3 in the fall, but for now I have to make due with my split doses. I was feeling a bit off lately: increasing pain (back, leg, muscle, knee) in my right leg. Something that

Daughters bloods, awful GP's

Optimum Ferritin Result?
What is the optimum ferritin result I should seek to achieve and how, please. My recent last result was 90mcg/L (30 - 200). I SI B12 EOD. I take a B complex (B6 10mg) and folic acid (5mg) as a separate supplement.

Should I be worried about suppressed TSH
I am extremely well and all my bloods seem within normal range to me (but not the GP)! I am 61 years old and was diagnosed with Hashimotos Thyroditis and Chronic Fatigue in 2004. My only health issue is very erratic sleep (one night 8 and a half hours, the next 4) which I handle by resting in the afternoon

Advice on some strange blood test results!
Hi all I hope you’re doing well! I’m writing on this forum to get some advice on a number of strange blood test results and symptoms I’ve been experiencing. Just for context, I’m a 26 year old cycling female with normal regular periods. Since the last year I noticed substantial weight gain (1 stone

Thoughts on T3 dosing please.
I take T4, alternating days with 100 and 125ug. Also T3 15ug each day. All in one go at 5am (I set an alarm). I know you guys have said consistency is key with T3, because it has a short half life. However quartering the tablets to get 15ug (3/4 of a tablet) is awkward. So I was thinking, cogitating

Blood test interpretation
Hallo everyone, I requested a blood test to cover a number of things - not sure this one covers everything or maybe there's more to come. I wonder if anyone might be willing or have the time to help with interpretation. ESR looks OK - I requested CRP as well but doesn't appear to be there unless I

Tight chest very hot shooting pains everywhere & headache from hell. Stomach seemed upset too. Oh & palpitations. I ignored the tight

Newly diagnosed
Hey y'all. I was recently diagnosed with pancreatitis, I had an acute attack and was hospitalized for 11 days. I've never had issues before now that I knew of, but upon doing a CAT scan they discovered a 9cm cyst on my pancreas. I don't drink, but I did eat quite poorly unfortunately. I had to wait for

Progesterone protocol on a natural FET
Hi there, I am currently 8 weeks pregnant after a natural FET. I have been taking Cyclogest 400mg x3 a day and have been told to keep on taking it up to 12 weeks. On my last FET I only took Cyclogest up until my positive pregnancy test but they have put me on it as a precaution as my last pregnancy

Hi everyone. I am currently in the 2WW after transferring a PGT normal embryo. Had a tiny bit of spotting yesterday (5DP5DT) and felt I must have been out of the game so took a pregnancy test (cheapie) to confirm and wallow in my misery. The spotting happened after 2 long walks and only after checking

Bloating and thyroxine hormone absorption
Would bloating of the digestive system after some liquid medication I have been given for an infection affect the T4 tablet absorbtion? I am also avoiding lactose and have noticed an improvement in the absorption but I have not managed gluten at the moment due to trying to recover. I know T4 is absorbed

Since my menopause I feel like my T3 is needing upped. Any advice on my recent blood tests?
My t.s.h was sitting at about 7.9 and I'm not feeling at my optimal. Usually my T.s.h is in between 2.5 -4.5 ish. Since menopause and getting older I feel I definitely need an upped dose! Any advice from those with t3 experience. My T4 is low at 4ish and my t3 is high because of my treatment at 8ish

Switching from Armour Thyroid to T4/T3
I’m changing from Armour Thyoid to T4/3 prescribed by local Endo partly for financial reasons but also as I’m concerned about supply issues and monitoring. Should I swop gradually or is it better to finish the AT then start the T4/3 the next day. I currently take AT 1 grain am and 3/4 pm and have been
