Considering pharmacoepidemiology, the
statins
and metformin have been recognized to lower the risk of incidence of Pca. Excessive intake of calcium, multivitamin and vitamin E increased the Pca risk.

microvascular angina and high cholesterol
Hi all So today I've been told I have to take
statins
as my cholesterol is high. Just another tablet to add to the heap. I have been compaining about complete exhaustion for a long time. It's getting worse rather than better. Is there any connection with this and high cholesterol?

Statins to be avoided?
Could anyone please tell me which
Statins
are best avoided. I am currently taking Ramiprill 2.5mg once a day, having changed from one that I noticed was a definite no-no for restless leg suffers (sorry I can’t remember the name of them).

Plant Sterols and Levothyroxine
Have been using a proactive margerine as don't want to go on
statins
. Has anyone had any success with plant sterol supplements? Are they tolerated with levothyroxine? Any anecdotal experiences would be appreciated.
