I'm 74 years old and have chronic Asthma and COPD. It is under control with Spiriva Respitmat and blue inhaler if required. I have no idea when I'm likely to receive my COVID Vaccination. Does it make a difference as to where you live? Any ideas please?

All asthma/COPD is chronic which would come under group 6 as far as I know (see above link). However being over 70 would bring you into Group 4. So when this group are done.
There are 8.8 million people in groups 1 to 3 and 4.4 million in your group 4. To date just over 1 million have received their first vaccination dose, but it looks like things are being ramped up. Even if the UK does hit their target of delivering 2 million vaccinations a week we have to factor in the second dose. My area are beginning to give people their second vaccination so it appears that some places are sticking to the 3 week gap between doses. I'm also in group 4 but don't expect to hear anything until late February at the earliest. To be honest, I wouldn't be surprised if it was April. Apart from the logistics around setting up vaccination centres and having enough staff, we still have to depend on the actual vaccine being available week in, week out.
