Am I going the wrong way? ⬇️
Morning lovely people, my GP lowered my Thyroxin to 75mg from 100mg a month ago in order to get my TSH levels up, which have barely moved in ten years and were at 0.01 for ages and ages. This happened after I was prescribed T3 by a specialist just over ten years ago who has now even struck off. I can

Test Results
I had tests done at Monitor my Health which have come back without ranges on so I’ve had to guess. I did the tests as you’ve advised in the past. So: TSH 0.01 FT4 12.2 FT3 5.0 My endo is aware of the low TSH. I’ve been feeling dreadful for a while now and seeing the doctor tomorrow

TSH Levels and Levothyroxin
Hello 😊 I’m hoping someone could help with TSH levels and Levothyroxin. A few years ago when I seen a fertility consultant she said my thyroid levels weren’t where they’d like them to be for fertility. I think about 3.7 mu/l and they wanted it below 2.5. I was prescribed Levothyroxin. I then conceived

GP Consultation
Well, I had my f2f GP consultation today and I was pleasantly surprised by his reaction. All bloods were within range (?) and there was no other cause for concern although there was no T4 or T3 test, only TSH. I went ready for a battle armed with various printouts but thankfully it wasn’t needed as

My GP referred me (thanks, NOT) because he wants to further reduce my levo from 125mcg to 100mcg. I'm the daft beggar that also takes 18.75 liothyronine by importing

Thyroid hormone and cortisol!
According to Paul Robinson in his book recovering with T3, he states that thyroid hormone and cortisol need to be considered together. Then he states that thyroid replacement can worsen cortisol insufficiency. It's on page 316. Then he States higher cortisol/effects reduce TSH and T4 to T3 conversion

When did you feel better on the right dosage of Levothyroxine?
24 male, diagnosed with autoimmune hypo at 16. Was on 200mcg levothyroxine (Synthroid) for years and felt amazing, 0 symptoms. Went off meds for 16 days, felt like crap, tsh 224 and FT4 6 (9-19), so I went back on 200mcg. After 8 weeks, extreme overmedicated symptoms (insomnia, fast heart rate, extreme

18 weeks pregnant on NDT with low T4
I was diagnosed with Hashi while going through my first round of IVF in May. Endo put me on a very low dose of Levo (50mcg) and when my TSH was low enough, he told me to stop. IVF cycle failed and when I retested my TSH a few weeks later, it was 56. Started on Levo again and felt awful. Ended up getting

Combination therapy T4 + T3
Hi, since 2 weeks I started to take 10 mcg T3/ 2 days on top of my daily levothyroxine. I remember my periodic cycle was 24 days instead of 28 days when TSH was rising before. Today I was surprised to get my period at d23?! I am confused again. Was expecting the opposite.

Cognitive disorder in older adults
This apparently just got published: https://jamanetwork.com/journals/jamainternalmedicine/article-abstract/2811088#:~:text=Findings%20In%20this%20cohort%20study,adjusted%20hazard%20ratio%20of%201.39. I'm afraid that this will be another arrow in the TSH doctors' quiver. What will most likely be overlooked

B12 sublingual
Hi, I suppose this has been addressed before, but....Is there any reason not to take sublingual B12 around the same time as ndt? Usually I space the sublingual B12 a couple hours away from ndt but figured the B12 is bypassing the digestive system & the ndt is not. My TSH, FT4&3 are all good. Since
