newly diagnosed
my friend is newly diagnosed with CLL. It’s not at the stage of needing medical intervention. She wants to be proactive. Does anyone have experience of natural health treatments that work? Such as oxygen therapy or high levels of vitamin c? I would be very interested to hear of positive outcomes.

Hi all Well we finally got to see a specialist. They did a bone marrow biopsy which showed 50% CLL infiltration on top of the pancytopenia. They have suggested treatment with Venetoclax only which they have said may reduce the frequency of transfusions which is currently weekly. I have only ever

Hi, I went T3 only 3 weeks ago after trying combination therapy for 6 months. At around the same I had my local surgery test for blood FBC, blood sugar, cholesterol, calcium folate, B12 Iron etc. This was just to check for my self that I wasn't encountering any other issues. To my surprise they also

Well, I'm not one to moan about my health condition, but since June I've been suffering with terrible headaches ( cluster) they've been absolutely been brutal. I've been on a long term medication previously and it stopped working, and I've just started taking a new medication 💊, the headaches were so

TRIMBOW HELP
Hello everyone , I need advice from those who use trimbow; I have COPD and have been living with only one lung for 5 years, I have never used bronchodilators but I have always relied on exercises, a good diet and of course no smoking or alcohol. I must say that I did very well, especially because

AAV-GAD Gene Therapy
Did anyone hear of AAV-GAD gene therapy? I have a chance to get into a phase 1/2 trial, but information is somewhat limited. The original developing company went bankrupt, and a new company bought the rights to the therapy. The trails are being held at reputable sites like Yale, Columbia , and Cornell

Experience, thus far with Lupron and Abiraterone
I am 78 years old. I was diagnosed in May 2022 with PCa after my PSA was measured at 23.79. I have no other health issues. Following the determination that PCa was still within the prostrate capsule and had not spread to any other organ, I was placed on Lupron (6 monthly IM injections for 2 years). Clinically

Finally!
Back in July I had a response to a FOI, which I challenged. I sent out numerous emails to different NHS governing bodies. I met a brick wall. Today an email turned up out of the blue from my Health Board. It only took them five months. The complaint was that the blood testing for thyroid did not

Cold is good for you
Radio 4 currently has a series by Dr Michael Mosley, Cold Therapy. The third episode deals with exercising in the cold. One of his conclusions is that people who run reasonable distances for fun (as opposed to marathons, ultra runners, professionals) have their best performance at around 10-11C. Well
