life after laparoscopy - expectations
i was just wondering what things are like after a laparoscopy to remove endo ? i know pain wise it takes a few months while you heal to feel the benefit of that & for the last few months i have been lucky i’ve had bareable pain (but i think this was due to a prostap injection during a round of IVF)

Have the symptoms, shame the doctor didnt want to know.
So all of my teen life I have suffered with heavy, painful periods. I was always told this was normal and has no reason to think otherwise. As a teen I didn't live with my mum so I would go to the doctors and complain and was fobbed off each time so I just plodded along. I fell pregnant at the age of

upper right quadrant pain
anyone else get really painful pain here on their period. I have been for years - I don’t see how it can’t be related to my cycle when it comes with every period like clockwork. But when I’ve had scans etc for gynae pain and heavy periods I’ve been told the two things aren’t related. I’m a little

Chronic Fatigue in Pelvic Pain Disease - Endometriosis/IBD/Bladder Pain
Hi everyone, I am new to this group, and am hoping for some help and support from seasoned pelvic pain sufferers. I will give a bit of background of my medical history, and wonder if there is anyone who can relate with any aspects with confirmed diagnosis of IBD or Endometriosis who could give advice

Pain after menopause
Hi all, I haven't been around for a few years. A brief back story. I had always suffered from painful heavy periods, since 16 years old. Numerous visits to the doctors over the years, being told it was normal or later on as I got into my 40s being told it was to do with the menopause, I finally got

Incredibly heavy period following biopsy, just a coincidence?
Hello! So I had my ERA, ALICE and EMMA Biopsy on 24th August, I stopped my medication on the Friday evening because I needed to make sure I had the Prostap before cycle day one. So I was spotting following the biopsy and my period arrived on Sunday 28th August, and it has been horrifically heavy

Period after failed IVF
I was wondering if people had heavier periods after taking progesterone pessaries and gel? My periods are only 1/1.5 days and I expected a heavier period due to progesterone pessaries building my lining up but nope, it’s been 1 day long. Any thoughts on this? Could I not have been taking enough progesterone

Dyspareunia - painful sex - as main symptom?
Hi! Can anyone relate to painful intercourse as the main, telling, symptom? I don't know if it's because I have been so used to painful periods all my life. Only since the deep dyspareunia got unbearable, I started to reach out for help. Now it seems that the symptoms line up with endometriosis: -
