Imodium/stool color?
Does Imodium cause stool color to be different than normal? It makes mine a weird beige color. During an IBS-D flare, stools or liquid is normally brown or yellow. Never this color.

A tip from a fellow panic attacker who thinks can help us ...
She drastically reduced the
sodium
intake of what she eats, and now carefully looks at
sodium
on every product. Since doing this, she says her panic attacks have reduced SO MUCH, and that I need to try it asap. I lived a normal life until I was 32 years old when I had my first panic attack.

Multiple Bowel Movements
My son (aged 40) has been diagnosed with IBS. He has had a sigmoid colonoscopy that was all clear. For 12 months now he has to go to the toilet about 6-10 times a day starting early in the morning till about 11am. No diarrhoea just lots of bowel movements. Doesn’t matter what he eats, tried everything

Is there anyone that can further educate me on the combination of POTS, FND, and other medical issues one of my best friends is facing?
When first diagnosed she received
sodium
citrate to take and that seemed to make it worse, but her doctor continued to increase her dosage and I’m pretty certain she still takes it.

Staying on the Path
A healthy vegan type diet, is working watching protein,
sodium
, potassium and phosphorus, while staying away from processed and packaged foods, I would love to eat meat every day, but the protein is too high. Was happy to find that frozen is okay as that cuts down on grocery store visits.

Actinium/Keytruda/Xtandi trial update after 24 weeks.
At the 24 week mark of my trial at Weill Cornell, I had updated NM whole body bone scan and CTs of chest/abdomen/pelvis. Also had updated blood work. Was expecting my next 6 week infusion of Keytruda the next day. While waiting in the treatment area, there was some kind of a delay. Nurse came over

Tonight’s Dinner: 11-22-2021 🍣🥗
Along with the salmon, I had low
sodium
corn, a side salad with Italian dressing and ice cream for dessert. The
entire meal was 41 total carbs.
. Everything was delicious and I enjoyed it. 😀👍🍣

Sodium Butyrate: Conflicting Studies
So I read one study from 2021 that said
Sodium
Butyrate was good for PD, lowered inflammation, and improved symptoms and then read another from 2020 that said
Sodium
Butyrate increases inflammation and makes PD symptoms worse. I have e-mailed both teams for an explanation.

High (2.0 g/kg) or low doses (0.2 g/kg) of
sodium
acetate (NaA),
sodium
propionate (NaP) or
sodium
butyrate (NaB) were gavaged into PD mice for 6 weeks. High doses of NaA reduced the turning time of PD mice.

Radium 223
Hi there Just wondering does radium 223 act the same as chemo when it comes to xtandi versus abiterone? My hubby has done 6 months of radium 223 while on xtandi and will now have scans in feb. Will he be able to try abiterone now or will he be faced with chemo? I know it might not work for long anyhow

Landmark study shows simple salt swap could prevent millions of deaths each year
High levels of
sodium
intake and low levels of potassium intake are widespread, and both are linked to high blood pressure and greater risks of stroke, heart disease and premature death.

Thank you for all your advice to my posts titled "Is this normal?" and "Terminology help"
They have also tested me for Vitamin D, Ferritin, Folate and B12that you all suggested and he has thrown in another test for my
sodium
levels again. I am awaiting an appointment date for my "day curve" for the hypopituitarism that I also have.
