Better at night?
Am I just an anomaly with asthma and
silent
reflux
, or could this be something different entirely? Thank you!

Silent reflux or asthma?
What if this was
silent
reflux
all along? Is it dangerous to leave it untreated? I have an occasional cough, definitely not persistent. No heartburn, bad taste, burning, hoarse voice, nausea or vomiting. I sleep on my left and the soreness is on the right. Maybe it isn't. Ugh.

Lansoprazole
He has been on lansoprazole for just over 10 years after being diagnosed with
silent
acid
reflux
. About 2 years ago he started to say he was sometimes feeling dizzy and lethargic. Then about 2 months ago started to get problems with burry eye vision. Went to the opticians. Eyesight fine.

Coming off Qvar?
We're currently trialling Omeprazole for possible
silent
reflux
, and I do believe it is making a difference. I've only needed my blue inhaler once this past week for the first time. One GP said I could come off Qvar any time, no need to wean, as I'm on a low dose; Qvar 50, 2 puffs twice a day.

Getting a diagnosis?
Around 5 years ago I developed Raynaud's, then Telangiectasias, shiny and discoloured skin on my hands and in the last couple of years, I've been experiencing a dry, irritable cough with '
silent
' acid
reflux
, although I've also had a post-nasal drip for over 15 years.

Anyone experienced lump like feeling in thyroid area
GP put me on PPIs (for 10 weeks now) as thought could be
silent
reflux
- again no improvement. Tried acid watcher diet and not worked ... also have gone gluten free just incase. Will try anything! It’s a horrible pain. Almost like being strangled and lump stuck in throat.

More about Ranitidine
I have taken it for about 18 months and am concerned about no longer being able to take it as
reflux
(in my case possibly
silent
reflux
) can trigger PAF. The doctor has prescribed omeprazole, but I am not keen on PPIs because of various issues with them (including a link with dementia.

Waiting for diagnosis & mini-pill recommendations?
Hello, My name is Emily. I'm 27 and live in North East Scotland with my partner, best friend, cats, ducks, chickens and sheep. Like many of you I've been back and forth to my GP for years trying to make sense of my symptoms. I feel closer to getting a diagnosis than ever but an answer is still just out

No withdrawal bleed when on combined pill?
My first post... I've been on the combined pill for around 15 years now. I don't think I've ever had a break from it, but have changed pill over the years (Dianette, Yasmin, Cilest, Lizinna). I keep going through about a 4/5 month block where I don't have a withdrawal bleed during my 7 day break. I do

Coronary Angiogram First Post on BHF
I have a multitude of medical issues including PAF ,Gerd ,
Silent

First Time Post on the IBS Forum IBS & Gerd
Would be interest to hear from those who suffer and how you manage IBS with GERD ,
Silent
Reflux
. IBS big time came into my life following the death of my wife some 9 years ago although in a very mild way had been around for 20 years prior.

Bronchiectasis and asthma.
I also have
silent
reflux
and osteoporosis. I've had a flare up of asthma and my bronchiectasis and am just coming to the end of 3 weeks of Azithromycyn. I'm still coughing and occasionally wheezing. I've read that Magnesium can help strengthen the lung muscles, do any of you take Magnesium?

Acne in your no-ose...shame on you!
I'd much rather have curlers in my hair, if you got the reference... My nose has been getting more and more plugged lately from all the pus and blood scabs. Today, I noticed I have a huge whitehead INSIDE my nostril. Joy. Always a new side effect, right?! The positive is that one doesn't NEED their nose

Been to see consultant who said it is
