Recommended Selenium brand
Could I please ask advice of a good Selenium supplement. I have recently taken Pharma Nord, looking at ordering other brands. There are many cheaper options out there, I am looking for quantity & quality, any suggestions?

So Random post but thought I'd share this today as I am amazed and equally disgusted. Found this article on healthy eating forum so thought I would pass it on
This article ("What Happens if You Eat Raw Onions Every Day"), was published originally on the FoodPrevent.com website. The article explains how eating a raw onion a day can help with certain health conditions (cardiovascular health, type 2 Diabetes, lower cancer risks, etc.). Please see below for more

Vitamin D & the U-shaped / J-shaped PCa risk curve.
When I was diagnosed in 2004, the first paper warning of a U-shaped risk curve had just been published [1]. "... both low (</=19 nmol/l) and high (>/=80 nmol/l) 25(OH)-vitamin D serum concentrations are associated with higher prostate cancer risk." i.e. < 7.6 & > 32 ng/mL (<20 is deficiency; 20-30

The SELECT Trial, Selenium & Vitamin D Supplementation.
The SELECT trial (Selenium and Vitamin E Cancer Prevention Trial) [1] opened July 25, 2001. It was the most expensive PCa prevention trial to date. 35,533 men. It is touted by some as the last word on the subject of selenium supplementation (& vitamin E, which I might write about one day). However
