I am on sinemet 100/25 tds,
selegiline
, zinc, vit d, vit b1, coq 10, SAME, resveratrol, mucuna, magnesium n pramipexole of which I take mg n pramipexole at night. I don’t take mucuna every day but for the rest, is there any ideal time? Like dopamine should be taken empty stomach before meals..

Selegiline is Neuroprotective
According to the article I will link below,
Selegiline
is Neuroprotective. I have read some of the actual studies concluding this but the link is a good summary. I have read that
selegiline
is not compatible with some cold medicines.

News that worried us and studies that gave us hope (04/2022).
The neuroprotective ability of the drug
selegiline
is due to the fact that it somewhat elevates glutathione (Tanaka 2002). During the 18 years of my father's illness and the first two years of preparing this project (i.e., I needed 20 years!)

C/L question
I started on Azilect, then
Selegiline
, which was of no help. I stayed on
Selegiline
hoping it was somehow helping my brain. My initial experience with c/l (25/100), 3 half tablets a day, was nothing short of frightening. After the 3rd dose, I couldn’t walk.

Time for a sea change?
Besides,
selegiline
was more tolerable than bromocriptine (OR = 0.62, CI: 0.39 to 0.98) and pramipexole had a higher withdraw rate than levodopa.” I think Prami and Requip should be banned and everyone switched over to Neupro until they can be comfortably withdrawn from even that.

Selegiline and Zandopa
I am not sure if it’s the food I had during dinner caused all this, or it’s the combination of zandopa and
selegiline
caused the sudden increase of blood pressure. Has anyone taken
selegiline
and zandopa together? Thank you in advance! Laura

Starting C/L immediate release
I finally bit the bullet and requested to be put on C/L extended release, after trying Rasagiline and
Selegiline
with no change in motor symptoms.

Recently Diagnosed
The Dr said she didn’t think it was necessary to pull out “ the big guns yet” A month ago, I changed to
Selegiline
once a day, then twice a day after 2 weeks. I feel good on it, no side effects, but again, no change in motor symptoms.

Ongentys this medication WORKS!
I was on
Selegiline
5 mg tablet daily.
Selegiline
is a MAO inhibitor. Another enzyme that loves depleting L-dopa. I can say I don't think
Selegiline
was ever a benefit to me.
Selegiline
did give me serious constipation. I've been
Selegiline
free for 6 months and almost constipation free.
