Selegiline side effects

Has anyone suffered with side effects from Selegiline? I’m on 10mg and on week 3 of upping from 5mg and I’m sure it’s making me feel worse . How long do side effects last!?

Many Parkinson's pharmaceuticals make many people feel worse. There is an old Indian proverb, "If it makes you feel bad, don't do it."

I have been on it for about a month. Taking it in morning and at lunch. It makes me nauseous. Haven’t noted any improvements,

I tried it for a few weeks or months. At first it made me sweat profusely. Later I got bad headaches. I finally threw out the rest of the bottle when I started feeling suicidal. Never touching that stuff again!!

I’ve been on 1 mg a day for almost 7 years without any side effects. That was paired with pramapexole only for several years. Could it be possible that your dosage is too high?

Is the side effects are going to dissipate, that usually happens within one week, sometimes two. If the side effects not gone after 3 weeks, you have to weigh living with the side effects against the benefits. You might consider Sane1's suggestion re dose.
