selegiline oral + carbidopa-levodopa oral

I would bet there are a fair number on here taking both.
I was taking both and I asked my neurologist about that warning. He told me not to worry about it, which worried me. I stopped taking selegeline because I was having some crazy-ass dreams during which I was becoming increasingly physical. I was afraid I would hurt myself or my partner. (Neurologist told me not to worry about it). I stopped taking selegeline and the nightmares stopped.
I take both. I do measure my blood pressure from time to time. No incidents of high blood pressure. Nor any incidents of orthostatic hypotension resulting from this combination,
This has to be a very common combination. I would think we would hear more about if this was actually a thing.
Also, thank you for posting the actual entry rather than making us go hunt for it.
I take selegiline & carbidopa/levodopa every day with no such problems.
I take both an hour apart roughly and have felt faint a couple of times. I don'tknow if it's because of the meds or because I normally have low blood pressure. I can't honestly say selegiline does much for me. It was supposed to give me some energy during the day as I don't sleep more than 2 hours at night. I'm still falling asleep during the day.
My HWP takes it too. I think it is a common protocol in the treatment of PD. Does is kept low so their are typically not dietary restrictions. Just mainly dried meats etc.
