Have you had a negative experience from the mental health care system?
Trauma was not recognised as the cause of my mental health problems and I was mis-diagnosed with paranoid
schizophrenia
. This resulted in very heavy handed treatment, strong medication and the fight of my life to go against the mental health system. This was 10-15 years ago.

(New Here!) OCD and related symptoms define more of my life than I realized
So now I go to therapy once a week for PTSD, OCD, BPD, and
Schizophrenia
. It's become more apparent to me through therapy that all of these aspects have significantly impacted my life, from interpersonal relationships to day-to-day living.

postpartum psychosis
My partner gave birth a week ago but 3 days ago she stared acting irrationally , hearing voices, paranoid illusions, similar to
schizophrenia
. It took me 2 days to get anti psychotic drugs low dose from gp but no major improvement. Mental health are involved but no real support or diagnoses.

***Trigger Warning - Sexual abuse, domestic abuse - GASLIGHTING - TESTIMONY
I thought I was narcissist,
schizophrenia
, bipolar… I remember having panic attack, felt my body so cold through the night that it would wake up me, having nightmare… I had the support of the Hospital counsellor how was the person who explained to me that I am not the narcissistic person or any other

Fear of losing my mind
I’m scared I end up experiencing some kind of psychosis or
schizophrenia
. I know there are genuinely people suffering from these conditions and I do not want to offend anyone, however I am terrified that I lose control. I feel very overwhelmed and stuck.

A very blank mind and OCD
I have no family history of psychosis or
schizophrenia
. My medical treatment for my OCD has included antidepressants and benzodiazepines, with no illegal drugs neither alcohol consumption. However, my symptoms over the past few months are not related to my typical OCD symptoms.

How common are olfactory hallucinations--AKA phantosmia-- in PD?
Dr Google says they can be caused by
schizophrenia
, head trauma, or PD. WTF???? I was on medication for MS for two years when I actually had PD? I stopped the sinemet over a month ago. I feel better without it.

What can I do for people to listen to me which doesnt end in a bottle full of pills?Trigger warning just incase.
(Maybe
schizophrenia
aswell but that hasn't been put on paper yet just spoken about so I don't like making it official until i can see it). Ive recently became ill (like flu/corona possibily) too and that really isnt helping me or my head, its making everything unbareable and so confusing.

When you you missed out on life, growing up, sex, making friends
I became bi polar but two years later that was changed to schizoaffective disorder which is
schizophrenia
mixed with a mood disorder. In real terms i basically have both schizofhrenia and bi polar. My anxiety disordets are social anxiety disorder, ptsd, and panic disorder.

I’m at point where I just can’t take it anymore.
I suffer from depression anxiety
schizophrenia
and ocd. I am at a point where I just can’t continue anymore. My depression is just to high. I can’t cope anymore. I don’t see any reason to live anymore. I have no desire or motivation to live anymore. The depression is to overwhelming.

Does anyone feel that their face and eyes change when the headaches consume you?How long does it last and do you think its anxiety or depre?
I also wonder if I have had a psychotic episode and or
schizophrenia
or bipolar. I gave not been diagnosed with either but have my concerns. How debilitating is depression for you. If I have depression why do I get these horrible attacks all of a sudden. Does anyone else have these?

Quick question
Sorry this was so long but I’m really confused as to whether it was delusional for me to think this or if it was pure anxiety because at the moment I’m going through the fear of having a mental illness like bi polar or
schizophrenia
(my dad has this mental illness) it even scares me to type the word

Pip for mental health
Postman just delivered award letter, he got awarded enhanced rate for both elements I honestly am so relieved and grateful that we will be able to use this money to make life easier for our adult son with Aspergers and
schizophrenia
. Nothing is easy so this was a nice letter for a change.

I dont understand.. Loved ones are worth the effort of working through problems but I didnt get that. Maybe they didnt know how? 😢
This is especially because the son who I hadnt yet met suffered with paranoid
schizophrenia
. On the day I invited them they just said unprompted 'we want you to consider us as family from now on'.
