Salofalk foam enema - should I feel it?
Gastro said to start
Salofalk
foam enema straight away at night. After having a bad reaction to Mezavant tablets in December, I thought I would just use one pump of the
Salofalk
foam to start with to see if it caused any reaction.

Crohns, UC, Ustekinumab, Proctitis, Operation
I’ve not been totally symptom free over the last 15 years but I’ve had a good quality of life and issues have resolved themselves with the use of
Salofalk
or Predfoam enemas. I’m currently on 12.5mg of prednisoline which I’m reducing week on week after my colonoscopy results.

Salofalk granules
Hello, I’m recently diagnosed with Ulcerative colitis and started taking 3mg of
salofalk
daily. I’m on day three and I’m literally stuck on the loo with awful diarrhoea & tummy cramps. Is this common when starting this medication. I feel worse now than before I started them! Thank you

UC MEDICATION, what has worked best for you?
Such as
Salofalk
vs Pentasa? Granules vs Tablets? Suppositories vs Foam Enema? Any information on what has worked best for you medication wise or diet wise would be great to hear, finding the magic formula is proving hard. Cheers #

Isoniazid
All my current IBD medications(
salofalk
, budesonide) and Vitamin B seems useless to stop this bad bleeding episode..the doc required me to take Isoniazid to treat my latent TB for 1 month before switching it to Amjevita biologics treatment..2 more weeks to go..

Ulcerative Colitis
I am taking Octasa 800mg 3 tablets twice/day,
Salofalk
suppositories 3 times/day and Prednisolone 20mg/100ml at night time. This combination normally works but this time it is not doing so as I am still experiencing pain, frequency and bloody stools.

Colitis is getting me down!
I take
salofalk
3G granules. Was on octasa highest dose but was passing them fully. Did a short course of beclamethasone in March for 4 weeks I know we’re all different but is this typical of colitis? What would people in my Position do?

Waiting for biopsy report.
I have been given
salofalk
, which hasn't really helped. Has anyone else had so many biopsies taken? All the best to you all.

Asacol vs Salofalk foam enema
As many of you who have been using Asacol foam enema know, this product has now been discontinued and as a result my GP prescribed
Salofalk
instead. However, I'm not sure it does such a good job as the Asacol did. Does anyone else have a similar experience of these two products?

Non uclerated colitis/IBD
Mums on pentesa and has been for some time, and I was diagnosed in 2015 and given
salofalk
. (Melsalazine). Flare ups are worse for mum than for me, and I was wondering if anyone knows if pentesa is really an up to date medication these days?

New here, please be gentle
Was fine (ish) until Nov when they changed meds to
salofalk
crystals. Turned me into a zombie! Couldn't eat, drink, sleep and had no idea where I was. Changed back to Asacol and to cut a long story short, ended up in hospital to discover it was the med's that were making me ill.
