Hello everyone, I have been on Salofalk for 10 days now. Does anyone know how long they take to work, only the last three days have had bad flare up. Thank you.

Realising this Q is from 11 months ago. I started on Salofalk at the beginning of a flare. After around x6 weeks of taking the granules and x10 days of using Salofalk enema at night, I didn’t notice a huge difference from my last flare, which burnt itself out without medication. So far as I know, the Salofalk is working gently in the Colon, to reduce or stop another flare happening. It might be best to look at it as a preventative, which will be great for controlling the next flare. So, keep taking it as directed. Unfortunately I have to stop taking it, due to possible unusual side effects.
