Salamol not as good!
I am always worried that if I have a really bad attack that I will not be able to breathe when using Salamol and I have never had that worry with
Salbutamol
. Is Ventolin still available in the UK?

New inhaler
I'm being trialled on Symbicort MART rather than the fluticasone and
salbutamol
I'm currently using. Has anyone any experience of this and did they find it effective? I'm open to the idea, though a little worried, as I know
salbutamol
works when I need it.

Nebulising - does it work?
I have severe COPD and am now on O2 (3lpd) with a cocktail of medications, including the use of
salbutamol
as a reliever. Whenever I have been to hospital one of the first treatments they turn to is nebulising me with
salbutamol
.

symbicort to fostair ?
I was on symbicort morning and night and then
salbutamol
as needed, however the past two weeks my asthma has flared up resulting in prednisone for 5 days (which ended the same day I got switched to fostair) I got switched to fostair 100/6 on the mart scheme , I’ve been using fostair for 4 days now

I do not know what to do.
In case of infection, additional Pulmicort and
Salbutamol
to the nebuliser. I checked all these new drugs to see if they were on the NHS list. It turned out that they are.

Salmon v Ventolin
When I have previously been given
Salbutamol
it has never worked on an asthma attack and have always ended up being admitted to hospital. For a long time I insisted there is such an obvious difference and I must have Ventolin. As soon as I run out I will inform them only Ventolin.

Salbutamol
through a spacer just so I can sleep 😒

COPD medications
However they feel that her condition is uncontrolled due to the amount of times she needs her
salbutamol
. So far the respiratory nurse has only offered 1ml of oramorph up to 4 times a day. So far she has only tried it once a day, but doesn't feel much affect of it.

Which one?
At the initial time they thought I may be asthamatic so for the last 8 months I had been presribed and using the brown preventor beclometasone inhaler and the standard
salbutamol
if needed (which I didnt feel the need to use) Since I was getting constant phlegm I assumed I was getting infection after

Bisoprolol And Asthma
I have recently seen a couple of posts about taking/not taking Bisoprolol if you have asthma, but does that relate to those inhalers containing
Salbutamol
sulfate I have been taking 5mg of Bisoprolol twice a day for the past 12 years. (Paroxysmal Afb) plus the same of Ramipril and Doxazosin.

EasyHaler Salbutamol Sulfate 100mg
As anyone else had any reaction (ie increase in cough) to the above inhaler? I was switched to this in June (2023) & haven't stopped coughing! Also, I was put on Bisoprolol in Feb after an x-ray showed Arrhythmia. The x-ray result I had 2 wks ago showed as Normal! Last month I was given Omeprazole

Ventolin now being replaced
My asthma nurse has replaced my usual Ventolin (full-size) prescription with the new CFC free smaller
salbutamol
inhaler. Maybe it’s me, but it certainly doesn’t feel as effective and it may be coincidence but my voice is getting more and more croaky. Anyone else experiencing the same?

Recovering from Pneumonia
I no longer have to use
salbutamol
every 4 hrs, have my qvar daily though. However, I have been off work 3 weeks and due to go back Monday, 9am. The tiredness/fatigue I’m feeling is unbelievable. I can’t wake up in a morning, even if someone wakes me up I’m just so foggy and out of it.
