Very breathless lying down
I also have the
salbutamol
for an emergency but again I hardly use it - I think I have used it twice. The nurse I see told me I have moderate to severe copd and I am now waiting for the pulmonary rehab course. So that's about it. The sleeping thing is my main concern - is this normal?

Seretide and Addisons disease
I also needed to use more
salbutamol
so felt Asthma not controlled and so went back to original inhaler dose. I am now experiencing other side affects, raised blood pressure and breathlessness which increase after inhaler and hydrocortisone tablet.

Do I still have asthma?
Was also given a "rescue" inhaler,
Salbutamol
, which I never have had a need to use. A few years ago, my pulmonologist changed my medication to Relvar Ellipta 92/22. I have a yearly revision and all tests are very good.

Good sats - so why so breathless?
Five minutes of 5mcg
salbutamol
. No diiscernible difference (and yes, I know I should not use the little bluey but what do you do in a hurry?). Now a clue - I also have arrythmia and mild congestive heart disease (meaning oedema and continues furosemide).

COPD question
I have a prescription for
Salbutamol
inhalers which don't seem to do much. I think it's just really down to old age and a few other things I suffer with, which I didn't go into, but no one thing that could be regarded as needing a badge. I don't use any walking aids or get Attendance Allowance.

Broncholidator Reversibility Test
I'm not convinced they've even performed the test using the correct guidance, as I was only told to withhold Seretide for 12 hours and
salbutamol
and ipatropium for 4 hours (which I couldn't do anyway), they didn't say anything about the other meds.

Does peak flow increase in non asthmatics following ventolin?
Can exercise normally with no decrease in peak flow, in fact peak flow increases slightly However after just 2 puffs of a
salbutamol
inhaler they noticed their peak flow increased from 300 to 340. Would this warrant a diagnosis and treatment?

Paroxysmal AF and Asthma
Does anyone else have asthma as well as PAF and how do they cope with the
salbutamol
inhaler during an attack and does it affect PAF episodes. Thank you very much and hoping you are all well.

getting a diagnosis
The an and e dr diagnosed asthma but it took 3 rounds of nebulised
salbutamol
and steroids to bring his sats up to 95. They were going to keep him in and try magnesium but decided 95 was good enough. It’s been 2 weeks and he still coughs , can’t sing so is getting depressed about his future.

RSV and recovery
I’m on fostair four times a day,
salbutamol
4 to 5, times a day and montelukast at night. I am experiencing a lot of body shakes, and it makes fine things very hard to do as my hands shake so much.

SWOLLEN ANKLES WITH LUNG CONDITION
They sent me home with 2 inhalers
salbutamol
and fostair. The tests were requested within 3 weeks, that was almost a year ago and I still haven't had them. I was told by the nurse at the surgery that there was a backlog and I was on the waiting list.

So I take Montelucast, Fexofenadine, Spiriva, Citrazine, Dymista, Symbicourt and lots of good old
Salbutamol
. Respiratory have now prescribed long term Azithromycin as they say in people like me it has had good results in dampening the immune system plus I get lots of chest infections.

Colomycin
I always nebulise
Salbutamol
before starting the nebulised Colomycin I'm using my inhalers so much because of the chest tightness that I feel shaky. My mouth and throat are always dry despite drinking so much water. I tried Oralieve dry mouth relief but it doesn't seem to be working.

Asthma flare up any advice?
I also have
salbutamol
but have never needed it really until recently. Since march/April this year I have developed what I think is some sort of allergic response that seems to come and go. Around 5 weeks ago I developed hives, more frequent cough and phlegm and the wheezing started.

Chest Clinic
I'm on Montelukast, Carbocisteine, Spiriva, Flutiform, and Ventolin, as well as having Ipatropium and
Salbutamol
Nebulisers. My asthma nurse suggested changing my steroid inhaler to Fostair, but she was hesitant in case it made my asthma worse.

Asthma Flare up
I have a home nebuliser system which I have Ipratropium and
Salbutamol
nebules which help relieve the strange feeling in my chest for a while but then it comes back a couple of hours later, weirdly enough I found that singing seems to also relieve it 😂.

Singulair side effect or just anxiety?
I know this med is posted a lot, and there are a ton of different side effects people experience but I am wondering if mine are related to Singulair or if it truly is anxiety. Sorry ahead of time for such a long post! I recently experienced heart palpitations while driving, was lightheaded, faint,
