My son went back to school today, not really brilliant as we can't seem to shift his cold. He has come home really poorly, had to have his salbutamol inhaler. His peak flow was 140. I asked him if he had been ill at school. He said he told his teacher he was not well (he's 6) and he said, she said "

2-yr old just diagnosed..
Hi all, my little one turned two in March and has just been diagnosed as asthmatic after four attacks since October, all of which they've treated with prednisolone and salbutamol. We're now starting to work out how to manage it, just wondered if you had any advice as to how to get the best plan of action

Does my son have asthma?
Hi everyone :) I'm just posting for a bit of advice. My son is 5 years old and has been coughing at night for about a month or so. I took him to the GP about 3 weeks ago who listened to his chest and said one lung was'nt as clear as it should be , so put him on Co-Amoxiclav (antibiotics) They didn't

Hi I am new
Hiya This is my first time posting on here I'm after some advice/reassurance really. My son is 15 months old but was very premature - born 11 weeks early. He has had lung problems since birth (probably due to the fact that my waters went only 17 weeks into the pregnancy). He took ages to come off

The Molly saga continues.......
Molly has her review at the hostpial today. We have had endless problems since the last vist, her medication has been changed numerous times and we have been in and out of the doctors like a yoyo. The appointment was useless. He suggested that we carry on as we are and he'll see her again in 6 weeks

Salbutamol sends my nipper nutty!!
Has anyone else experienced side effects with Salbutamol?? My son's asthma is very seasonal and only happens when he gets a bad cough/cold. I have been told only to use the preventer when he gets a cold but, as it seems to take an age to kick in he needs the reliever, sometimes quite a lot. Within
