I have also tried azilect, neupro, ropinerole, c/l ,
rytary
. I was taking 3 25/100 c/l 5 x/ day and I was experiencing akathisia in OFF time. MDS switched me to
Rytary

Rytary update
Now on
Rytary
, my sleep is much worse. I’m waking up between 1-3 and spend the rest of the night sedated from the sleep meds but not sleeping.
Rytary
also seems to worsen my brain fog, that’s not only due to the poor sleep, as I noticed it the first day I took
Rytary
.

After 4 years on Sinemet or
Rytary
I'd occasionally stop the treatment. I decided to stop
Rytary
two months ago. And no problems happened.. More importantly, no return of the double vision. A positive effect was a return of libido.

Rytary… might stop??
I also feel more sedated on
Rytary
, and between the afternoon slump and the med schedule, my exercise schedule of hiking late in the afternoon is disrupted. I walk in the AM, but not as much. Sleep seems lighter. I don’t know if this is because of the
Rytary
, or not exercising in the afternoon.

Sinemet vs. Rytary
Does anyone have experience with these? How does Sinemet perform vs. Rotary. Which do you prefer and why. My neurologist recommended the latter, but I'm not so sure that's the best choice. Would love your opinions.

Rytary switching, tips from your success?
My MDS has recommended switching to
Rytary
. She says "most" people do better on
Rytary
. I have been taking one 25/100 immediate release and one 25/100 Continuous release generic C/L at 8, 12, 3:30-4ish and 7:30ish. I also have added citicoline.

Dealing with this caused me to forget my daily
Rytary
. So without PD medication for the past month I should be deep into the "Off" period. But no, my main symptom being double vision, I an symptom-free.

Rytary and Deep Brain Stimulation
my husband has been taking
Rytary
for a year. We noticed his veins get large and tingle which he says at time hurts. It gives him a terrible headache more then the the plain C/L. The Dr wants him to consider DBS now . He said it has benefits but won’t last forever then back to square one.

Does anyone take
Rytary
around the clock. My dr told me to play with it to figure out what works best. I know this is an unusual dosage, but to prevent dyskinesia I take one 195 every three hours until eight pm, after that very little sleep until my next dose at 5 am.

My visit to a new MDS
He RX’d
Rytary
which seems to be “smoother” than the CL I was taking. Just started, so we’ll see how it goes over time. Overall the visit was outstanding.

Lots of OFF and Food interference
I've been offered to consider Entacapone, Neupro patch, Apomorphine sublingual,
Rytary
. All have pros and cons. I don't want to add to anticholinergic load, so as I understand, that leaves either adding Neupro low dose, or switching to

Rytary and new side effect
my husband has been on
Rytary
for several months. He has noticed shortly after that when the medication begins to work his veins in his arms are noticeably visible and his hair on his arms stand up. Anyone else notice this?

No Longer Have PD.
Since the diagnosis, i have weaned myself from
Rytary
and have been prescribed Baclofen. The symptoms of PLS have not changed for me - slight tremor, weakness, freezing and inability to move.
