I’m closer to finding a dose/schedule that works for me. Hopefully this will help others who are still trying to find their way,
Rytary was allowing me to eat three meals, a big plus since I’m no longer losing weight, gained a few pounds.
But I was having a horrible afternoon slump, and it was making my sleep even worse than it already was.
My schedule is 8am, 1pm, 6pm.
So at my neuro’s suggestion, I add 1/2 to 3/4 immediate release around 2:30pm, if I feel I need it. I’ve also replaced my evening dose with an immediate release and controlled release combo, what I used before Rytary.
My sleep has improved, and I have a way to avoid the afternoon slump.
Still working on evening dosing because I do get dyskinesia and a little too revved up. So I’m going to inch down that dose.
I know some say not to mix Rytary with regular C/L, but my neuro is ok with it.
