Problems using extended release types of Carbidopa Levodopa.
I have used
Rytary
, extended release Carbidopa Levodopa, Entacapone (Comtan) with the same results. At first they help but after a week or so they start to fail. My on time becomes shorter and my off times get longer and harder with more pain and other side effects.

Supplements and meds
Currently taking
rytary
, azilect, magnesium malate, and allithiamine, NAC, and the reservatrol. Nothing has made a difference so far, I think I paid Amazon enough to hire 20 new employees. I'm going to revert back to wine and cigarettes.

Missing Him So Much
It was a terrible shock as he was doing as well as someone who had Parkinsons for 15 years could.....on
Rytary
and still walking. But I had put out of my mind that he also had cardiovascular issues and that was what he died of!. The blessing was that after we had a lovely dinner (his favorite!)

Rytary failures
For those of you who have attempted
Rytary
with no success I am curious about what caused your failure. Also what dosage where you on and for how long. Thanks in advance.

PSA treatment
Hi, I was diagnosed with seronegative R A 2 years ago. Initially prescribed 15mg Methotrexate and folic acid which was moderately successful. 8 months ago it seems that I probably have a form of Psa as I've had patches of psoriasis and it runs in my family as does R A. Although my rheumatologist didnt

Another interesting blog post from Alan Hoffman
In this post he makes reference to the program BIG, and to the drugs
Rytary
and Tasigna (nilotinib), which he is taking. http://advenventurouslifewithparkinsons.blogspot.com.au/?m=1

Take nothing for granted. Try anything that that will not harm you and keep a diary.
I recently wrote a post about trying
Rytary
again. To do this i decided to quit all other meds and take it alone. At that time i was taking carbidopa levodopa, azilect and Requip. To my surprise all the night time problems went away.
