So sad to write that I lost my husband on March 15th. It was a terrible shock as he was doing as well as someone who had Parkinsons for 15 years could.....on Rytary and still walking. But I had put out of my mind that he also had cardiovascular issues and that was what he died of!. The blessing was that after we had a lovely dinner (his favorite!) and a glass of wine together (which was rare), later he went to sleep and did not wake up in the morning. The shock for me was terrible but I am helped by the thought that he had such a peaceful passing. We were married for 59 years and I feel as if half of me is gone. Even though I am happy for my honey's peaceful passing, it is hard to deal with this loss in my life and in our home.

My heart goes out to you for this very difficult loss. I, too lost my husband 8 moths, ago after 57 years of marriage. He had Parkinson's and several other illnesses. The shock of an unexpected passing can take some time to absorb, and for me things got worse before they got better. But, they are getting a bit easier over time. Wishing you all blessings in the days ahead.
Thank you so much for your words. You know what I am experiencing. 57 years and 59 are the same.
Be assured he is with you still, watching over you.
