Extended release carbidopa-levodopa causes problems.

I was having issues at night. Which included loosing the ability to speak, muscle spasms ,pain in my legs and arms. My feet also felt cold , tingly, numb.So I stopped using Extended release carbidopa-levodopa. I had the same problem with Rytary which is extended release carbidopa-levodopa. Now i am taking the same amount of carbidopa-levodopa just no extended release and all the night problems have gone away.

Is Anyone having these types of problems.

I wonder what the reason is. I thought it's the same meds but just released gradually. That should be investigated. Anyway, Glad to learn you are OK, now Bailey

I have not noticed any differences at night between carbidopa levodopa ER, Rytary and regular carbidopa levodopa.
