For those of you who have attempted Rytary with no success I am curious about what caused your failure. Also what dosage where you on and for how long. Thanks in advance.

The makers of Rytary tried to create a 8 hour time released CD/LD. What my year and a half experience has taught me personally is that it takes 2 Rytary lowest dose to equal one 25/100 sinemet. If I had to guess it takes 1 hour to start feeling the effects, and wears off about 3 to 4 hours of full dose but hear is the good part, it seems to have a half life of at least 2-3 hours so your off hours are much more tolerable. it is the difference of drinking from a glass of water as to compared to a bucket. It is very effective for leveling the on and off times.

I was taking it and its debatable 1 61.25/245 4 x day as 3 x was not cutting it. Really wasn't working right - food really affects it.now taking 3 of the lower dose23.75/95 4 x day and I can add 1 Or take 1 less each time to get the needed dose each time.today was first day and on time was 4 hours.

I really do not have any problems with protein interfering with my meds. I am doing worse on sinemet cr and straight sinemet (no bueno).
