How to escape Augmentation?
I only learnt about Health Unlocked and its efforts on RLS through RLS -UK and this is my first post. I have suffered from RLS for several years and various doctors have prescribed all the general medicines starting with antidepressants (amitriptyline, mirtazapine, imipramine, and citralopram), dopramine

FenBen Protocol: Risky Interactions
Hi, really hoping anyone has some info about interactions between the FenBen protocol and the conservative medical treatment my father in law is receiving. Could anything on the FenBen Protocol list below potentially clash with the Doctor’s Treatment list below? How badly? FenBen Protocol: Fenbendazole

Looking for advice, yet again, please.
I had an appointment to see my GP today regarding high blood pressure. I have been taking 10mg Ramipril for some time but recently BP has been high and erratic. Apparently, I cannot go to a higher Ramipril dose, therefore, need to change. I’m aware that some BP medication can interfere with RLS, so

Revitive Pro Health Circulation Booster. (RLS)
Hi to all. I am trying to come off pramipexole and I am on Oxycodone and I am having a very bad time trying to come off pramipexole. My wife wants me to buy a machine from Boots the chemist. It is called "REVITIVE PRO HEALTH Circulation Booster" for about £150. It does not say it is for RLS and I don't

why docs don’t want to prescribe opioids for RLS….😔
With all the recent total panic by docs on not prescribing opioids, I thought I would just attach Andy Berkowski’s excellent piece on why we are often being refused opioids now and almost certainly in the future at least for sometime. You may well have read this article before Kakally Andy Berkowski

Lepto meningeal involvement. No further treatment. Palliative radiation?
Spouse 10 weeks post Pluvicto and about to embark on a Hail Mary trial of androgen receptor degrader. But yesterday's brain MRI showed spread to dura and leptomeninges. So my lovely light and love of my life is coming to the end of the road we have walked, too briefly, together. Oncologist has already

Augmentation and Pramipexole
I am trying to come off pramipexole and I am down to 2 a day 88mcq tablets. Is the last part the hardest to do because I feel I need this to end as soon as possible. How long do I stay on 2 a day and then 1 a day? My replacement medicine is 20mg tabs Oxycondone twice a day. At present, I feel absolutely

opioid not working at all
Hi, I’m after some advice after years of Ropinirole use I have recently changed to Shortec 5mg Oxycodone. I have slowly increased the amount to the maximum recommended of 20mg per night which I take an hour before bed. Two months in I have never been so exhausted, I’m regularly falling asleep from

Pluvicto side effects…
… are kicking my butt. I have my third round next week. I’m more fatigued than with chemo, bone pain, can’t eat, constipation — all the stuff. I’m even more concerned now because I was Rx-ed oxycodone and have increasingly been turning to that for temporary physical relief. I’m starting to think maybe

Dialysis / RLS
Wow, this sub is a lot more active than the Kidney Disease sub, one would think it would be the other way around. I guess RLS is a lot more prevalent than people think? I never experienced or even heard of RLS before starting dialysis but boy did it hit me hard. It's already hard to sleep while doing

Visit to sleep clinic
I attended clinic (all geared up) to see consultant. Well it turned out that the appointment was with a triage nurse - not made clear on appointment papers. He was very professional and apologetic for the confusion. It soon became clear that he has the ear of the consultant who prescribes buprenorphine

oxycodone
I have had a complete hip replacement operation on 1st July. Since the my RLS has gone mad my foot twisting like a crazy windmill. I was given a ferritin infusion but it is still mad. I see Oxycodone may be causing this is there any alternative? I am on 5mg prolonged release twice a day and supplemented

what to do
good morning everyone. I’m 78, had all of the meds including 4 doses of Pluvicto. I have terrible pain in my right hip down to my knee. My PSA had come down to 10 but after the last dose of Pluvicto it’s back up to 17. I live on 3 oxycodone per day and the pain reduction is minimal. I’m starting to see

Recovery after partial Knee Replacement
Firstly thank you to everyone who took the time to reply to my last post regarding post op fatigue. That does indeed seem to have passed. However, I am still struggling with trying to gauge how much pain relief I should be using and progress with exercises. It would be really useful to hear from anyone

Oxycodone
Hello everyone & especially Sue & Jules. I have now had 4 blissful months sleep on 10mg of Oxycodone.I have now successfully reduced my gabapentin from 2,100 to 1,500mg. But am now starting to get one breakthrough session of rls a night & am worried it will get worse. Should I stop reducing the gabapentin

Sleep problems back.
Husband takes 10mg Oxycodone at night with 100mg Pregablin also 5mg Oxycodone 3 times during the day. This was helping but now he only sleeps for 2 hrs at night and seems to have RLS nearly all the time he is awake. Does he have opioid withdrawal now? Going to see specialist again in August. Any ideas
