Rocephin

I was given a Rocephin shot and an oral antibiotic. I followed up with my PCP and labs were drawn. Everything was normal except my GFR which has dropped from 109 to 78 over the course of a year. Should I be concerned with the change in my GFR and cannot return to baseline ?

I'd like to share my first biopsy experience. This was a transrectal approach and he took 14 cores: 4 cores from a known 1.3 cm long tumor in the peripherial zone that he could clearly see on ultrasound (which matched the location on MRI). He did it "cognitively" because he could easily see the tumor

They did use Rocephin as my antibiotic. I did have general anesthesia. No issues. Results by next week. The TP biopsy needs to be the standard procedure.

I just noticed one of the antibiotics that will be in my IV drip will be Levaquin and the other Rocephin. Levaquin is one I do not want to have. I called the Dr.'s office and requested an alternative to Levaquin. Thoughts are welcomed. Thank you.

They gave me some IV antibiotic called Rocephin, and I’m almost certain it caused some increased restlessness. Thankfully they prescribed the oral form to continue at home along with some Vicodin (hydrocodone-acetaminophen).

I was given infusions of Vancomycin, Zocyn and Rocephin. On the last day, I was given Dalvance so that I would not have to have a PIC line. The half-life of Dalvance is 14.4 days.

am looking to get infusions in near future... bronchitic cold not responding to Rocephin...wondering if to go straight to a port... my veins tend to roll...

I have taken several antibiotics including rocephin, and yet nothing has changed. I need help please.

Fever is gone with ZPAK and Rocephin, but still a painful chesty cough. I am in Alaska now. Last week we did an amazing patient forum in Salt Lake City, the week before was Columbus for my treatment at OSU, the week before was NYC to meet other CLL folks.

Since she is on Embrel and methotrexate and they think she either has sepsis or pneumonia, they decided to admit. 24 hours later we are sitting here with her fever finally broken, all blood values back to normal or near normal, Rocephin and Zithromax flowing through the IV, and breathing treatments clearing

Got tested for multiple STDs and infections by various urologists and doctors and was negative multiple times, however I was still treated with various antibiotics (doxy, azithromycin, rocephin, cipro, etc.). I also had my prostate examined by ultrasound and a cystoscopy which was also clear.

My doctor told me that I was positive but I've taken 2 penicillin shots and Rocephin but I'm still experiencing its symptoms and I want to know if that's possible if it's really syphilis.
