Can anyone with SLE do intense exercise?
He is on mycophenolate and IV
rituximab
. His haemoglobin will definitely affect his aerobic ability and it is creeping upbeat at 10g at the moment. But it could normalise eventually?? He is 18 and incredibly optimistic about his future. That's just the way he is!

ANA used to be 1:1320 but is now negative. Thoughts?
I was initially treated with prednisone, and, since it proved to be insufficient at regular doses, I was later introduced to 3000mg solumedrol and 4 infusions of
rituximab
. Platelets returned to normal and have stayed high for 3 years (absent any further meds).

2017 - Bright and Dark
Greeting All, Always lurking and reading posts. After 6 x FCR in March '14 I'm still plodding on and even though my Consultant appointments have narrowed to 6 Weeks apart, there's been many bright spells during 2017 - in particular, 1. Free Car Parking at the hospital. (Once paid £22 during FCR Treatment

My low immunoglobulin levels are caused by
rituximab
. Has anyone had this treatment? did it work? are there any questions I should be asking the doctor at my appointment? Many thanks

Happy 2018... Choose your Pooh Bear Character!
Happy New year to you and all here! This forum becomes our sounding board, our counselling session, our font of knowledge, our diary to log and share our darkest thoughts, our laughter but most importantly our support. It's a while since I wrote on here but I still dip in constantly. I'm now just over

stopped imbruvica
I was on imbruvica (3 pills 420) for about 3 months and CBC test came back better, however I got so sick my doctor stopped me that was about 10 weeks ago and my CBC tests looked almost normal. he wants me to try one pill a day but there is no way I am taking imbruvica again. I had chemo FCR in 2009

Stress and anxiety
I have hospital appointment on Thursday for my first
rituximab
infusion. I have been looking forward to having this done because my health has been so bad this last 2 years. I am on the verge of panic attack sometimes. Does anyone else feel like this and how do you cope.

Three weeks and bruising...
There is confusion around the second
Rituximab
drip session - apparently they got authorisation and supply of
Rituximab
for both sessions but now they say they are only giving her one. Why? Trying to find out.

Rituximab for skin condition -- plus caretaker needs mental health check
My husband has been told he may need to start
rituximab
to combat the immune-related skin lesions he's had for the past two months.

That was eventually replaced with various drugs such as sulpasaloprine and then was put on
Rituximab
Drips but I proved allergic to them all. Anybody else in Mycophenolate?

White cell yo-yo
I have been very tired and achy since i came off the plaquenil , I really hope its not going to affect the
rituximab
treatment. I was nearly going to ask for a surgical mask LOL but the hand sanitizer will have to do 😀

Road to a BMT... oops just got there
Previously when we were dealing with all the challenges at the beginning of the year Mark had read a few clinical trials/articles on the combination of V and
Rituximab
and how the efficacy of V was greatly enhanced with the introduction of R.
