Frustration
Having my fourth
Rituxan
tomorrow; platelets at 20, down from 80. Still on steroids, also. Can anyone relate?

CAR T-Cell Developments in Lymphoma Dr. Ian Flinn Highlights
In follicular lymphoma, one of the key updates is the RELEVANCE study that compared rituximab (
Rituxan
) and chemotherapy with rituximab and lenalidomide (Revlimid; R2). This study was a large, international trial.

Update
I am due for
Rituxan
yet again. It isamazing how quickly the time passes. Still undecided 🤷‍♀️ this would be round four. I truly do not see the point. But I am afraid of doing nothing. I have stopped smoking and radically changed the way we eat( whole foods). But inflammation is still in check .

Starting Rituximab infusions for EGPA/Churg-Strauss
I'm starting
Rituxan
infusions next Monday and I'm apprehensive. My EGPA-ChurgStrauss was being controlled (sorta) by prednisone (up and down a lot but was tapered to 8mg) + 150mg Azathioprine, plus a host of others meds for related... seemed ok for about a year.

Therapeutic Massage
Had
Rituxan
/Bendamustine #5 over two weeks ago and suffering with hip and leg stiffness and numbness Also involving the hands. Has anyone tried therapeutic massage and/or Acupunture? If yes, did you first get approval from your oncologist? If yes, did the massage give relief?

FDA Approves Venetoclax (VENCLEXTA) For CLL or SLL with or without 17p deletion, who have received at least one prior therapy
This approval is based on data from a clinical trial evaluating venetoclax in combination with rituximab (
Rituxan
). The trial compared venetoclax plus rituximab with bendamustine plus rituximab in CLL patients who had received at least one prior line of therapy.

Update
I consented to a third dose of
Rituxan
in February but will not agree to any more. I have been trying an endless array of drugs for three years in July. So enough is enough. The oil vaporizer is the only drug I intend to continue. It is very frustrating. I feel like a lab experiment.

83 year old dad diagnosed with stage 4 CLL/SLL. Doc wants to start Rituxan (once a week for 4weeks) then Ibrutinub. Does this seem right????
I have searched over and over, and I can’t find anywhere that
Rituxan
is first line therapy for stage 4 CLL/SLL. So confused!

Update re visit to Moffit in Tampa to see my Hematologist
Based on my markers I have 3 choices: Number One: Bendamustine with
Rituxan
........Number Two: Ibrutinib...Number Three: Gazyva. Numbers One and Three would be twice a month for 6 months while Number Two would be a pill every day for the rest of my life.

Deciding on treatment...
I would prefer something low maintenance and results like Ocrevus or
Rituxan
. I feel like I never fully get over my relapses - I have a lot of anxiety so I'm sure that doesn't help. I would love to hear your thoughts and advice on treatment. My next MRI is end of April. Oh!

Rituxan Infusions- Afraid
Rituxan
Infusions. Starting
Rituxan
infusions along with Azanthopine was recommended by my rheumatologist several months ago; I have as yet not given consent. I am really afraid of the idea of
Rituxan
infusions. Can anyone share their experiences, good and bad, with infusions. ?? Thanks.

First Day Of Rituxan and Bendamustine
I'm happy to report that I had no side effects from Bendamustine, and one chills event with
Rituxan
, resolved with short stop and 100 mg Benadryl. After that smooth sailing. This is to let others know I had no nausea, itching, bone pain, mouth sores, etc., and slept like a baby last night.

3rd day, 1st day after R/B, Neulesta and Platelets
I made these 3 posts so that scared others who haven't had first treatment would see that at least one other scared person did not suffer any side effects nor pain other than chills on
Rituxan
. Dr. explained that was from destruction of cancer cells; lasted 10 minutes.

In Remission from StageIV Mantle Cel
I am in remission after RCHOP and
Rituxan
. I just had my port removed yesterday after my PET scan showed no sign of cancer. I honestly can say that in the beginning I didn't think I would be here to celebrate my upcoming birthday this March 2018.
